I'm in the middle of rewatching all your videos (ALL. OF. THEM.) in preparation for setting up for 2019 and it's fun to see how you've evolved over two years.
I'd like fruits for January, both because it has potential to be colourful and because it's "neutral" in terms of seasons (I'm in Australia, so it's usually blazing summer days and nights for me!)
I also used to mess up my calendar numbers, but now I have a method: I fill in 1 - 7, and then, below the seven, I know it's gonna be, in order, 14, 21, 28. So I do these first, and then use them to complete the calendar. Hope this helps!
I just love how you INCLUDE the "mistakes" in your videos. And especially what you do to cover them...because I have YET to create a spread that doesn't have something go wonky. HA!

I think January should definitely be a New Year’s theme, with gold, shiny, sparkles, fireworks, party hats etc, but also with Champagne and a lil bit of Treat Yo’ Self as well! I like January as a personal health and rejuvenation month, but love the New Year’s Colors!!!

I made the snowflakes and wintery theme for my November. But for January, you could like spa theme and get all selfcare and selfreflection for new year going... And also put a bucket list for 2019 there..

maybe a treat youself theme as a lot of peoples vibe in the begining of the year is to focus on physical and mental health; so like a few candles, chocolate, books, fairy lights and maybe a quote sheet as well!
💙 a snow theme like with a snowman, a snow cave and a snow lantern. and also maybe like fireplaces, candles, some more mittens and scarfs, trees with ice and some skates, snowboard, skis... basically everything that can go with a winter wonderland kind of feel would be fantastic 💙

I think a glitz and glam party (like the one in the Great Gatsby) theme would be cool as it would make me of think of a New Years party. So metallic colours and dark colours
I rarely mess up my dates, but it’s only because I have a trick. From the first day and down that same day of the week through the whole month, I write the dates, which are 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29. Then I go through and number the rest as normal, and the ones I already wrote keep me from messing up. 😊
I started doing the same thing and it make it soooo much easier.
I decided to go ahead and start migration for Jan 2019 to a new bujo and I did my year at a glance like that. For once I didn't have any mess ups!!

Definitely snowmen (and snow women), maybe doing people things (sweeping off the front porch, etc. with maybe little snow kids building forts, making snowballs, etc.

Yess!!!!! I’m all about themes that are a little different than the typical ones you would think. I actually did a polar bear/mountain theme in my own January 2019 setup, and would love to see Kayla’s rendition!

You should do maybe a silhouette banner theme. Like people in dynamic poses in black or a solid color with banners with inspirational words or quotes wrapped around them. Kind of random but quite cute.
Januari something cosy, vinterish and good enough self esteem and feel good for the year to come... hot chocolate, marshmallows, caramelised apple, reading in favourite chair under favourite blanket... Just love your videos, stickers, you are my favourite inspiration❣️😋👊

For the new year you could do a new year/new beginning them. Like baby animals, little tree or plant sprouts, etc.
Katherine this would be really cool for March or April because that’s when spring starts for plants and when all the farm animals are born!
I’m not usually a fan if these colors around this time of year, but this is beautiful! January, maybe a snow owl or snow animals.

I think a bare trees and wood textures one would be nice for January. I live in a very wooded area and I love the look of wood. You could do tree stumps, branch patterns, etc. Just a thought :)
