Hi,Stephen, Alan watching from Wrexham. Another good honest vlog. You're spot on to reflect and go over what you think is wrong. Like you say,if you don't you can't progress. Anyone who doesn't look to improve is probably in the wrong sport👍
Thanks for watching Alan appreciate that!! I think if we don't and lie to ourselfs and make the wrong excuses then we really do achieve nothing! Pigeon racing is certainly not all sunshine and rainbows unfortunately 😕 but I wish it was mind you 🤣🤣🤣 dad has had many years of experience with it so it's great that way just need to get them on the ball and hopefully see a better result 🤞8 If we don't have bad ones you can never have great ones Thanks for watching pal 👍 appreciate that 🤝
That’s young bird racing mate me and my daughter had it same Sunday from Marlborough the pigeons just homed but luckily enough we got em all and one from the weekend before so just back on it and try again this weekend. All the best
Yeah strange Wayne but as you said that's youngsters, every year is different with them just hope we get them on the ball asap 😂😂😂 it's all wee can pal! Hopefully you got them all and best of luck for another go 💪 appreciate that mate 👌
@@ssbrownracingpigeons37 thanks, the only racing im getting in is watching your videos and 2 other youtube channels. Hope im in a decent position to try race youngbirds in 2025.
Hi Stephen I really enjoy learning from your videos. I have recently retired and have had the opportunity to race in the Ramsbottom Homing Society in Bury, Greater Manchester. Keep up the excellent work!👍🕊️
@damiengraham1 I'm glad they can provide you with some advice and learning, Damien if you add our Facebook page s&s brown feel free to ask us some question pal be happy to help 😀 thanks for watching pal 👍
Hi Saul! That's amazing your watching from SA! Thanks for the comment!! Where about do you race Saul? Yeah we just gotta keep trying till we get it right! 🤣 Appreciate the comment and watching 🤝👍
Hi guys, good video again, keep at it birds not far away, agree with Brian Anderson, leading batches get hammered, and bit nervy when they get home , only 2 short , not much wrong stephen chin up pal , good luck this week
@robertohamas thanks Robert yeah that's true, tbh if I can't be honest with ourself then we will never improve, I do believe they cause a majority of issues 100% Thanks for watching pal 🤝👍
You dont need me to tell you they will come good, just need to hit form and then ..... . Seemed a bit skitish coming in to land, wasn't even a lap of honour like, i hope them BOP have not got them stressed and on edge. Fair play to christy and keith for driving that bird up the M1 to meet you, two absolute gentleman of the sport and in general. Roll on next this weekend stephen keep the faith pal😊
Day by day des. It's all we can do, yeah alot of pigeons seem to stop watch the sky and just look into the loft! So some stuff to work on hopefully (if this weather would) like a winters day here ffs Christy and Keith have been great friends for years! Your right when you say gentlemen of the sport! Next week we try again mate 💪💪💪
@ssbrownracingpigeons37 weather is strange allright, summer still has not arrived yet that's for sure, down here it's constantly sunny and cloudy and at times very windy, and up until last week its was raining once every second day, just 1 shower rolling across lasting upto 30 mims long, now there's more frequent showers daily, not ideal for training but the birds will come trough it or around it allright. As you say day by day, Stephen, they will come good, best of luck for Saturday pal
you are far better than me to see what could be an issue but it looked to me that some of them are a bit on edge the ones that came back with a stray were worried about leaving it rather than hitting the back of the loft, as you say BOP must have had an effect, but having said that you are still well up in the result so a bit of fine tuning, I am from the most eastly point of Britain!!
Yeah I do think if they are getting strikes from BOP on route home it's gonna effect them, suppose that's where luck comes it, All we can do it's just try and get them right for the next race to give them there best chance to race home! I personally think the country is full of bop and not just here even the UK! It's absolutely devastating that people from the outside don't see it and us fanciers have to deal with the impact of what they cause! Onwards and hopefully upwards 😂😂 thanks again for watching Mervyn hope your keeping well! 🤝👍
@@ssbrownracingpigeons37 Thanks Steven, I totally agree , there are so many misguided people who think they are doing wonders for wildlife , you and I know the song bird population is being decimated , but then that must be the farmers fault or global warming, now they are paying farmers to grow bird food. I am glad I am not intelligent 😲😲
Leading batches are the first to get smashed by BOP. And they get a touch from them the whole way home. An unfortunate fact is some birds literally head to trees straight out of the lorry. Last Tuesday Bill and myself went training. My last basket was released literally 30 seconds and a peregrine took one
You sound disappointed but when you put them on the transporter it's out of your hands better days ahead the right wind will come the birds are there every week a matter of time ,great viewing point for your dad.
Hi Stephen….don’t think you should be disappointed and as you say move on to the next one…..maybe a little off this week but you never know what is happening in the air
@hedleycrick7373 that's it, we can only do our best for them and then leave it to them, as you say we've no idea what goes on! Thanks for the comment and watching hedley! 🤝👍
