+Dommie I think the matter here is not being cute or not, being manly, girly, genderfluid, strong or not...I think the point is that they're able to do what they want to. They're girls (born girl) and even if they live in what is percieved (and it often is!) like a very sexist and chauvinist society they just tighten their fists and decided to enter a "world" basically run by men (VK) and...guess what? THE'RE AWESOME! so yeah, they're good, fun, awesome artists and also admirable people!!!

I don't think they've changed as so many people seem to claim. Most bands experiment with their sound, deal with it. Firstly, there's the people claiming Exist Trace was death metal. Wrong. Some melodic death metal are Ensiferum and Kalmah, but Exist Trace was never 'heavy' to that extent. They have always been hard rock, albeit with the death metal inspired growls, but nevertheless hard rock. Even Diamond is a rock song. They've not changed drastically in genre. And secondly, if you want to look at changing to the point of no recognition, look at X Japan. Compare Stab Me In The Back (a thrash metal song) to Jade (a soft rock thing catering to the animus). Or maybe Trivium, who reached perfection with Shogun, only to revert to some 2006 style metalcore crap ever since. These are examples of vast changes to a band's style. But Exist Trace? I don't think they changed for the worst. I love all their stuff. I'll listen to anything, Judea, Daybreak, Ginger, Diamond. It all rocks. I love this band. Stop hating, start supporting.
