I wonder how the DCA E3's fair in the sound leak department. Looking to finally upgrade from my DT770's, but I'm thinking of just going all out instead of settling for the middle ground Aeon 2 noire. The E3's are considered to be one of in not thee' best closed back ever made.
Late to the game, but love your informative review. Right now I have my Audeze LCD-X 2021 for my daily listening. But I want an option for something that provides more higher end frequencies.
At the same price the best competitor i think the Denon D7200. It should be veery close fight. I think the denon has much better dynamics, more and better textured bass, but aeon has better soundstage and better highs.
@@AudiophileHeaven Its never good to get a faulty unit, i see that u had a bad experience. But it is what it is, this happens with every people here and there with whatever product. Sound could be better nevertheless... Have a nice day!
Bro i have these 2 choices, what should i get? Can you give me detailed explanation about the sound? Like lows, mids, highs, soundstage, imaging, timbre, imaging, dynamics?
For a plane, I would typically recommend something with Bluetooth like Momentum 4 from sennheiser, which also have ANC. Those do isolate well enough for a plane, but you'd have to bring a pretty beefy dac/amp or a music player.
It would depend on how loud you're listening, I think it would be ok-ish, a bit obnoxious if you blast full vulume metal... My wife complains about leakeage when i use them, but I barely notice it when she's using them, so I may be going much louder than her hence the difference
@@AudiophileHeaven OK thanks a lot. I think in areas with a lot of ambient noise such as trains and planes it should hopefully be OK. I don't listen very loud.
Did you mean LSA HP2? The 2 are the closed back. I own them and it’s hard to think of a more detailed closed back hp. I agree their base is so tight and fast they sometimes seem a little bass light but I think they are just different. Nice review.
I love your accent and your approach to content. Looks like your video is high frame rate (60?) and the lighting is a bit bright or camera apperature is off for the talking head portion. I may be wrong about the frame rate but I think less is more for youtube. You asked for beedback so I wanted to share! Subscribed. I just ordered this set and I am excited. I have a cable on the way from Hartcables
Hii, thank you so much!! I appreciate all the feedback! I agree, the light was too strong in this video, and it was filmed at 30 Fps, then upscaled. For new videos I replaced the camera, now I film in 60 fps, different camera, and I also take more care to have a proper light and setup, hope the newer videos look better!
Is the sound leak really that bad? I have open backs Hifimans and its very distracting for my girlfriend. Even i dont like it. So my next pick looks like Aeon Flow 2, so i am curious about that.
My wife also always complains about the leakage of open back hifimans, but she also complained about the leakeage of Flow 2 noire. Truth is, she can hear and finds distracting most headphones, bot closed back and open back, but our room is quite quiet.
I did make a review about it in writing, my experience was poor with them, had a pair that was broken, the company is not easy to find when you need a replacement
DAC AMP for desktop depends a lot on the money uou're willing to invest, I use ACRO CA1000T the most, but it is pricey, you would be relaly happy with an EverSolo DAC-Z6 I think , I also use it for a speaker setup and use it as a headphone amp from time to time, love the sound

Thanks for advising these leak sound. I would've assumed they didn't, being closed back!
I am always happy to help! Thankfully my wife helps me test for those things and I can confirm!

You don't need to work on your accent. We can understand you and there's no point in sounding like american or english. Thanks for the review.

This should offer what you're looking for

I had a poor experience with D7200, no support from the company, 1 dead driver, complicated to recommend it after that

@@RX-rd4sc I dont own neither of these, in the end i bought the D9200 and as expected its very good, really a closed back endgame for me.
Loved the review brother
great b-roll too
Thank you so much!!
Lovely review - short and to the point.
Do you think these isolate well enough to use on a plane?

Is the leakage too bad for travel purposes? Would it be obnoxious to people nearby?

@@mattlm64 It should be super ok in that situation!

I only had the LSA-HP1, will try to check out the HP-2 too if I can!

If you remove 'Dan Clark' as a brand name you could probably name tampons 'Aeon Flow 2' and bring them to market
Well, there's nothing I can say that would contradict it, but I don't think that's something bad by any means

Recommended Dac amp for desktop and on the go?

And on the go, I use something like Pegasus SG1 from Dethonray, that one is pure love sonically , bluetooth too
