Probably a good seller. If you think about it, two other brands sell their similar speakers for a lot more. The Tribit Micro 2 is usually around $50 or more and the UE Miniroll retail is $80 and it doesn't even have app support. The Miniroll is currently $50 on sale.
@ I grant that even with the price hike the Select 4 Go is a steal. But with that said I wouldn’t compare to the Micro 2, it’s a step down from that speaker. No comment on the Miniroll since I’m not familiar. It’s interesting you didn’t mention JBL, because it’s their sales Soundcore are mainly trying to cut into.
Interesting, a rematch of these two. Only this time Soundcore is wearing blue. Jay I went crazy and did a hands-on comparison of a half dozen micro speakers, which included these two. I preferred the sound of the Soundcore over them all, even the JBL Clip 5, which was runner up. I've put the Soundcore and Tronsmart through countless hours of battle, and played nearly every genre of music and listened to lots of podcasts. I've messed around with every custom EQ. And in sum, the Soundcore sounds much more pleasing. It's more refined, smooth, open, airy, and full bodied. But I really appreciate the form factor, build quality and speakerphone of the Tronsmart. For music though, the Tronsmart sounds a bit gritty, congested and thin. Over a long listen, it becomes fatiguing to my ears. I just ordered my third Soundcore to keep in the car all the time. And here's a good tip for your viewers. I wrapped a silicone bracelet around the length of the speaker and attached a small caribiner to the band. That way it hangs more compactly when clipped to the belt loop of my pants. The alternative would have been to just clip the carabiner to the Soundcore's rope loop as intended. But that causes the speaker to hang too low and sway from side to side too much when clipped to my belt loop.
the reviews have been getting smaller every time, i think next video is Skull Candy ear buds VS dollar tree LOL
I like the tronsmart better once you EQ it. The soundcore has a hollower sound in the mid bass.
Yeah, as noted in the video you can manipulate the EQ for both speakers in their apps. Both are good speakers for the $$.
Do TOZO PE1 if it's possible, I got 2 of them and sounds really great with 32hours battery capacity.
@TristesHumanistes the PE1 sounds pretty nasty as you get higher in volume..
Soundcore raised the MSRP $5. I guess the demand for the select 4 go was too great lol.

At higher volume H1 loses sound quality, or is just me?
It does degrade to a degree.

too bad none of them can pair more than two speakers.
Thanks for the input. I think both of these speakers are good deals for the low prices.
that soundcore is only 999 pesos philippine mony
I take it that isn't very much. lol
