Crazy thing is I had so low expectations going into it... Had some troubles getting through the first series. And then got amazed by some of the best Star Wars content out there.
The clone wars has had such a significant impact on my life. I remember as a 5th grade kid seeing the first episode air on cartoon network while I played with my lego a-wing on the floor. The action, storylines, ships, vehicles, and everything captivated my young imagination, and made me obsessed with recreating them and building things throughout most of my childhood. The creativity this show inspired in me and the path it set me on is probably the reason I am a graduated engineer today which helped me escape my childhood of crippling poverty. All of my childhood memories revolve around this show. The friends I made as a kid and played in the backyard with lightsabers re-enacting clone wars episodes. The games I invented with my brothers based on this show. The turbotank design that helped inspire a first lego league robot that got our team to the world championship. And then, as I got older, the show matured with me. As my life got increasingly darker as I struggled with abuse and domestic violence, I watched my childhood heroes deal with their situations getting darker and more unforgiving as well. As I developed out of control anger issues and alter-egos from my myriads of abuse-related mental disorders, obi-wan told maul that his raw anger would never make him more powerful than rising above it. While I struggled with suicidal thoughts and self-hatred, I watched anakin fight his own self-hatred and develop into the hero we all knew would tragically fall apart for giving into it. I pulled myself together mentally and emotionally with the morals and characters that were portrayed in this show, and I really don't know where else I would have understood those lessons without the clone wars. When the show returned for its final season, I was so happy about it, and I've gotten back in touch with the lives of numerous lifelong friends over our shared love for this show and the stories and characters that spun off from it. I've been rewatching this show and other star wars content with my now-fiance who never saw star wars before, and sometimes when we are cuddling watching this show I just can't help but think about how many memories it has made me and how much it has actually managed to affect my life in so many positive ways. Thank you Filoni and Lucas, and Disney for listening to the fans. It's crazy how much your work has affected the lives of people you don't even know exist. Anyways, that is my tribute to this show.
Fantastic job editing: capturing the clones view/respect and the war vibe. You can't even tell that THIS IS star wars, rather just a good story. I never regret watching someone's edits of SW The Clone wars. Continue editing whether as a hobby or career, and safe travels.
I dunno why but this makes me think of where we are at and where the county is going. That's the beauty of this series. So many themes, messages, parallels and feelings felt from it. Such a great series. I hope they make more similar to it after the Bad Batch
It’s impossible to capture the full essence of this show, but this video came a whole lot closer than most. Well done. I also just realized something: Dooku picked out Jango for the cloning project, so if Maul hadn’t been “killed” on Naboo the clones probably would have been a completely different template
Would anyone like to see a Band of Brothers sort of show based on the Clone Wars, that follows different units of the GAR throughout the war? Give some more screen time to fan-favorite clones that didn’t get enough. Nothing about politics, no Jedi business. Just seeing the constant brotherhood and struggle a group of soldiers share. I think that’d be pretty sick
Im sorry u out here with only 151 subs with this editing quality?! U deserve at a minimum the number of subs I have, probably even more! This was put together phenomenally. The clone wars was a good show. Do you have any editing experience before youtube?
Oh my god, thank you! And yes, some might even argue the best show! although i am biased..... And not really! TH-cam is how I started out and everything is self taught! I am now studying a filmmaking career though, where I've had editing as a subject.
@@cococrazy4109 Wow, congratulations, being self taught is amazing! Having editing as a subject probably helps a lot. I also been trying my best learning on my own but not planning to do anything with it outside of youtube. I feel like there is a certain point where it is hard to progress on video editing without external help and that's where a class probably helps, although editing a generic youtube video is very different than editing for filmmaking since people have shorter attention spans for youtube videos, and for many types of content you are trying to get things out as fast and simple as possible. Good luck with your studies and career, I think you will go far! And clone wars was definitely amazing, especially the last three episodes for me. Clone wars really did help the prequel era.
Me too! Like, I loved the last season and I think it ended perfectly but, I think there was still so much left to explore and stories to tell! you know?
Clone wars is undoubtedly the best series ever made.
I will continue to live in the past and only like clone wars, bad batch has potential though, I hope we see Ahsoka in bad batch S2.

I cannot agree more. And I don't wish that the Clone War never happened at all
@@vojtar111 I agree it got better in later seasons however there were also quite a few episodes in season 1 etc that i thought were really great

Aww, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
“Because I’m part of the most pivotal moment in the history of the Republic.”
Rex. Oh Rex. If only you knew…
How he didn't mention the Jedi instead of the republic or it is the same thing
“We clones wouldn’t exist” Star Wars wouldn’t exist” I wouldn’t exists well my heart wouldn’t

"Well trained far superior to battle droids"
No dislikes "good soldiers follow orders"
(edit a stormtrooper seems to have missed the like button)
Hehe, totally!
There is 1. Must be a stormyrooper
Edit:Stormtrooper I spelled wrong. How can I call myself a star wars fan 😭
@@DarthVader-6637 agreed
It’s fantastic, but the lack of Dooku and Grievous is disappointing (as the main villains of the Clone Wars they should be included).
you're very right! I didn't even realise I hadn't included them sorry!
For the republic 😢
Wh, what?!! I’m not crying
Clone wars has never made anyone cry, right????
