Thank you brothers for what you do. I've made 6 figures, now I'm switching my path after 17 years. It's so many young guys in school that don't get to hear these gem talks, and need it. This is bringing the barber culture together. Knowledge, wisdom and understanding. But what you all might not realize is that the things you all talk about many of go through the same things as barbers. But a lot take it personal. Like whoo is me. Now they can see that is just the game. Not a fault in their life. It's a way in and out of it. It's a way to master it. Its not the end all.

We all got a story to tell, and our selling point is our work ethic and perseverance. Great content, fellas. We needed this. 💈💪🏽

I'm not even a barber. I'm just watching this video because I believe that there's something to be learned from it. Here in people talk about entrepreneurship and coming out of the struggle, there's always a lesson to me learned or something that I can draw from and apply to my life.
As a black autistic kid, I was immediately thrown into special ed and told by my peers that I would never accomplish anything no one believed in me. I would say I wanted to be a scientist, and I would get told to focus on graduating high school, I never had any friends, I never went to any parties or had anyone to lean on. When the college just came to talk to my high school, I was taking out of the room because they feared I wasn't able to sit still which was not the case. I had to learn about applying a college by myself and ended up going to Penn State. This upbringing of mine made it difficult to listen to real criticism and discern real criticism from people telling you that you would never make it. I ended up taking a bunch of classes and my GPA dropped and I can no longer afford to go to college.
I had to drop out. And for almost a year I sat at home playing video games from 4:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. . One day, I cut off the game and randomly applied to an in-state school. I got accepted, and less than 6 months after being accepted, I entirely turned my life around. I'm now interning at BMW of all places, and one of the first students from my university to go there. I'm working with electric vehicles as a mechanical engineer and life is looking great. It's a tough road, I know. But we can't give up we got to keep going. Sometimes our stories are bigger than ourselves which is why I like to share my story. You never know who could learn from you or who may be listening and could draw something great from your journey. Same to you guys with this video. I really appreciate you guys taking the time to do this such a great wealth of knowledge here. As for me, I'm going to finish out my internship and I've already received an offer to come back before I even finished. This is excellent news I can't wait to see what's in the next chapter of my life

Conflict resolution solo is huge! So different to having a team to work together. I’m solo and had a hard season of dealing with addict/tweaked \drunk clients and knowing how to ask them to leave. I learned so much and am smooth at handling that now and have come so far but it’s a vulnerable situation when it’s just you 😅

Great conversation very very knowledgeable. Confirmation conversation being a barber is one thing but tackling your mental health and your past and understanding what it is to be where you at it’s also very important so it’s good to salute each other but and this industry is nothing but love support Genuinely we just want each other just to grow and be knowledgeable and be willing to adapt to things and be a better influence to growing individuals in general

The time my client said he wanted it “over his ear” and I later learned he meant “ HANGING’ over his ear. Oops circa 1998. Lesson learned, and never again had that communication incompetence happen 😅

About the grocery cart: disagree. Put the cart in a safe spot, keep people employed. We don’t work for big Corp. they should be offering service to our vehicle door and hire an employee to unload the items for us. We’re not being taken care of. Neither are employees. So no, it’s not in the benefit of the employees to return the cart. We just help the automation and job losses by doing the corps dirty work. Save jobs, put the cart safely aside and keep ppl employed.

A whole paragraph justifying being lazy. Put the cart where it belongs.
