Forget all the hearsay of Hitler being alive and living in Argentina. He lives in Baltimore, works in a 7-11, and is one ornery S.O.B., he cards everyone, and won't break a $20.
😅
How you figured ? I thought it was a face change into Biden.
@@sushibites Jill Biden is Eva Braun, figures lol
Looks like an Alistair MacLean story. This is what the world needs!!
Was a fun movie. Beautiful landscapes and the icelandic actors were charming.
But the beginning was poorly written. It didn't get interesting until she found the cave

Jesus loves you, turn to Him
No@@perryroberts8800
@@universpro7741 that part was basically at the end of the movie, almost, it made me hope it'd end up saving the rest of the movie which wasn't necessarily bad but, honestly, kinda mid, enjoyable if you turn your brain off. Once she found the briefcase, I was basically praying that it wouldn't end up being another one of those movies where "good guys win because light always defeats darkness" - but I was wrong. Now, spoilers ahead, but did the directors think that an old farmer taking out elite soldiers and CIA agents like that would've been believable? I get that, sometimes, temporary suspension of disbelief is necessary when watching a movie but there was literally no way they could've made it out alive. If Carr's men were so threatened by a farmer, an annoying Icelandic businesswoman and a British professor, why wouldn't they call for backup? Plot armor at its finest, to me. After the plane crash, I thought to myself, okay, they killed a major CIA operative, killed his men and they might now know too much. If they got killed soon afterwards, it wouldn't have been an exceptional ending, although, surely an acceptable and quasi-realistic one, even if they didn't tell us what Napoleon was all about. Hell, they could've played it out in a cool way as well by killing them asap, making us feel like the protagonists, without a clue of whatever was going on (since, in the ending we've got, they discover what Napoleon is only two weeks after the plane crash), powerless and unable to grasp the truth that the shadows behind worlwide power hold over knowledge. But, again, not only we've got the "good guys win" ending. After two hours of watching this movie, we basically learned what Operation Napoleon really was all about and why it could change the course of history: art. Trying to find art that Nazis hid through a secret deal which would've guaranteed Hitler and Eva a one-way ticket to Argentina, in exchange of the location of the train - of course, it's only natural to think that this operation would've been kept a secret (even though, we all know about Operation Paperclip, which had a greater magnitude than all of this art BS), after all, it's Hitler? However, it's also natural for oneself to ask themselves the following question: why couldn't they just make a deal with the Soviets, in order to spare Hitler temporarily, make him believe that he's going to be safe if he gives the info up, and then kill him? Oh, yeah, the fact that "there were powerful Nazi sympathizers within the US which run everything behind the scene" subplot which was basically never developed during the entirety of the movie, just thrown in there a couple of times. Sad
Wtf!! Looks great, like a classic 70's thriller
I guess I'm missing on how, exactly, Hitler dying in a different way changes "the course of history". That, to me, is just a footnote.
Where is Hitler’s moustache in the trailer, did he get frostbite & it came off 😜
On Aug 21 1988 the Sunday Sport newspaper 👀 if you can call it a newspaper, now no more, ran this FRONT page article 👀
I’m 62 & I’ll never forget it 😜
World War 2 bomber found on the moon. WTF, careful not to spit your coffee out 😂
Well it does - the Russians claimed they found his burnt body, so the history books would have to be rewritten, so technically.....yes.😊
Not having seen this yet, I can think of all kinds of Sci-Fi ways it could change history. From cutting edge tech on board with Hitler that could be used to reignite The Third Reich, or rather the Fourth Reich. Definitely going to watch to find out what the secret is 😂
@@steviegibson5847I remember in 90s their scientists claimed they found a fragment of a scul. Did they "find" the body already? 😂
They clone Hitler and its jurnazis park?
It looks like you don't have to spend a billion on CGI to make a good spy movie. I can't wait!
How do you know its good? Are you a god?
What spy movie spent a billion dollar on CGI?
I saw a movie once where they dug up a shape shifting alien from the ice. It made more sense than I expect this movie will.
What is this THING you talk about?
Why don't we just... wait here for a little while... see what happens?
If its says Magnet Releasing at the beginning of the trailer, its your best possible shot at seeing a movie that isn't a waste of your time. Greatly looking forward to this. Hell, I might even read the book while I wait.
personally i like to watch the movie first, i did that when i watched black hawk down, i read the book afterwards and i found that it made the book a better read, whereas when i read the tom clancy novels "clear and present danger" and "sum of all fears" then saw the films i was a little dissapointed, but nothing with be worse than reading the book of "without remorse" later made into a movie with michel b jordan, absolutely awful version of the story, which is a real shame as the story is fantastic.
Good cast.
Good acting.
Good story.
Not Disney.
Ticks all the boxes for me.
because disney is woke! i hate things that are woke you are so right!!

yeah I just really hope it doesn't stir up any specific crowds... the concept would be very cool if we could actually leave that stuff behind.
I think I’ve seen enough. Trailer doesn’t tease but spoils every potential interesting twist of the film 🎥
Yes, I hate when they do that. I have not seen it, but can guess they want to take DNA of Hitler whose body is in that crashed plane ("Napoleon") and clone him, but are foiled in their plans. A real twist would be that they succeeded (like 30 years ago), and he is back now as an young man and taking control of some nation. Something like that.
In 2024, a Wilhelm scream in the trailer is a bold choice
Just watched it. 👍👍 The end leaves you knowing there will be a part two.
Oh my. not what I wanted to hear.
Iain Glen always impresses me! Cant wait to see it! :)
It came out last year, trailer dropped in July of 2023 a month before release.
Available on Tubi is a superb indie WW2-based horror movie called "Dead Mine" (2012). As with Operation Napoleon, I was initially blown away as to how much time was spent on establishing a back story and the quality of acting, script, locale, pacing, etc. However, I believe that both movies just ran out of money and time to give them a proper finish. Dead Mine and Operation Napoleon deserve sequels...properly edited, this time!
Looks pretty good the story line is something new for a change at least
Something new? Nothing new on this. Bad guys looking for Nazi crap. Dudes out having a good time, run into Nazi plane wreckage. Bad guys show up and only 1 escapes. The chase is on its about as cookie cutter as it gets. Want something different? Watch the trailer for The Creator.
Super good movie!!!! Highly recommend it! Love the historical twists and “treasure hunt” factor of it. You won’t be disappointed!
Good movie. Hoping they do a part2.
Taut thriller with breathtaking landscapes, suspenseful intrigue and mystery. A film with depth. It really looks interesting.
Wow what a unique and different movie, clever idea!
You make the world a better place with your consistency.
Please make a sequel!!!
Bear Island vibes. And that's a good thing for those to young to remember Alistair Maclean.
I bought and read the book, and this looks like a ok version.
Gotta look for this one now.
were is it streaming ???
Nice to know they still tell the whole movie in the trailer, lol.
This looks excellent.
As long as a troll doesn’t suddenly rise up out of the rocks!
Definitely looks interesting!
J'ai lu le livre,il y a plusieurs années.
J'espère que l'histoire est fidèles à celle du livre.
Im excited
I saw this the other day. It was cool.
When is this out ?😊
This looks good.
Yes
I think this movie looks great
this looks awesome
This movie is way better than you think
It’s not just another “racking up the body count” movie?
Very good movie !
Winter movie available at the end of summer...what a bummer...cause it looks like a nice one
For a moment I thought it would be about Admiral Bird and the flying saucers lol
I’ve not seen this advertised for the cinema, anyone knows where I can watch this please?
you could watch it in icelandic cinemas but its long gone
Hulu
Thank you for sharing this amazing and very enjoyable trailer. I liked it. PEACE.

Just wow
Read the Book a Long time ago and it was great! Curious to Watch how they adapted it
🇲🇽😎🧐👏🤣🦆🦇🐘can't wait to see Operation napoleon. So many question
Nice. I haven't seen a good spy thriller in a while. And it's NOT one of the major franchises so it should be good lol!
looks good
i remember the title from the indridason novel. i wish they made more of his erlendur novels after jar city. jar city was excellent. good to see the jack taylor actor
Where can I watch this movie, Netflix or Amazon ?
It's on Amazon.
Hulu
Cannot stand trailers that basically give away an ENTIRE movie!
Read the book it was awesome
Just what we need a sequel to the man who killed hitler and then bigfoot.
I loved that movie
Intriguing
What's the year of this film?
Ólafur Darri Ólafsson is an absolut cool guy ! Met him Reykjavik

Looks be be a good movie.
anyone notice the silent wilhelm scream when the guy got shot
01:34 that dude was in True Detective
1:11 is all you need to know about the movie.
I really hope they didnt put the reveal in the trailer....

How stupid can a trailer be.............
It isn’t Hitler.
how convenient right? yesterday Apple TV and now Magnolia...

Was that a Wilhelm scream at 0:23
0:18 Looked like actor Michael Fassbaender from ""The Killer" haha.
Nice job. You gave away all the best plotpoints. No need to see the movie now.
Good book
That looks awesome. I wonder if they are trying to figure out if Hitlet escaped the war and got away. Maybe he does live in Argentina now. That's what many people have said.
Now?? Today he would has 134 years old.
It's HITLER NOT HITLET
@JM11663 idiot 🙄
@@mm72213 Given that R is right next to T on the keyboard, you can probably put that down to a simple typo. Oh, and your caps lock appears to be stuck on.
@@mm72213No, it is Hitlet - a miniature version of Hitler, like Mini-Me from the Austin Powers movie.
Hmm looks like a great movie. The corpse does bear a resemblance. However, what I'm seeing is the uniform is that of the SS and the rank (four square "dots") is for Sturmbannfuhrer (the equivalent of a Major). So unless 'his truly' was trying to pass himself off as an SS officer and escape Germany in May of 1945 then either the producers didn't double check the uniforms, or this guy just 'looks the part'. I would posit that fleeing high ranking Germans would not likely try and go under cover as SS. Would probably be certain death if captured by Soviets, and even the Western Allies didn't take to kindly the jack booted hooligans. Oh, and where is that mustache? Dude ruined that mustache going on 80 years now! Lol. I think I'm gonna have to see this one in the theater. Oh and did anyone watch that series called "Hunting Hitler"? As cheeky as it was, they did try and bring to light various possibilities on potential escape routes. And if anything, it is rather unnerving how many of the flunkies escaped to South America.
You are right SS officers tried to pass off as lower ranking not the other way around
The Ratline created with the help of the Catholic Church, Christian missions across SPAIN, PORTUGAL AND BRAZIL TO Argentina.
Yes, @tacoSpock ... Movie looks awesome. I wonder if they are trying to figure out if Hitler escaped the war and got away. Maybe he does live in Argentina now.
That's what many people have said.
Moron. Anyone who actually knows anything about Hitler, that they didn't learn from hollywood fantasies, would know it was not in his nature to run away.
Or Otto Skorzeny's little "furniture trade" business@@DA99983
Read the book and it is Hoitler on the Plane, he died but is buried in Iceland.
I get the feeling we just watched the whole movie..😅😂😊

OLAFUR!
Funny how different the Movietitles in diffrent Countries are. In Germany they call it Gletschergrab
This trailer has the Wilhelm scream at 0:22 👀🤦 This can't be intentional? In 2023 you only use the "Wilhelm scream" as a meme, and this does not look like a memeable project.
💯💯💯💯💯
Just one big chase movie, with no reference to what Napoleon is and a ending that totally disregards the whole Napoleon thing. ( whatever it is)
dude. napoleon is the code name of the original operation. the trailer gives a buncha clues re: the nature of said operation.
I don't see what good der Fuhrer's frozen corpse is going to do anyone, unless this is some kind of a remake of "They Saved Hitler's Brain."
WOW 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
No need to see the film now that the preview showed most of it.
...the "Angry Samoans" wrote a song about this incident...
Is it such a big mystery? half of Argentina is his descendents.
PLAY JAJA DING DONG!
I was looking for thst comment. I thought that guy in the trailer looked familiar.
Where??
Look at my boy jorah the andal
This is very similar to the plot of the first episode of “The New Avengers” in 1976.
I must admit, it reminded me of the second issue of G.I. JOE: Special Missions.
I really do love european movies.
Almost 80 years later they are still fighting Hitler. At least it is not Palpatine. Whatever.
They should have called it "Hitler On Ice" as a nod to Mel Brooks :D
Napoleon was a energy device not Hitler alien tech 😮
