When this was released, i was at the hospital recovering from a knee surgery. It was the only thing i remember watching and boy it was areason to get well soon. Anything else was just a waste of time. Luckily i got well soon enough to go dancing to this. Thank you Madonna.
The strongest sound in the whole Madonna’s discography, in my opinion. It’s even so unique that it’s impossible to find songs that are similar to this.
The only stuff you will find similar is clubby music, stuff made by John Tejada at around this time sounds quite similar...Certainly groundbreaking pop music though
if this song was released today...it would still be fresh to death, NUMBER1 hit, and played a lot. that's the great thing bout M she was and I believe to be ahead of her time the beat to this song and bass are SICK!! my fave dance track of hers ever!
Wowwww haven’t listened to this properly since I was a teenager and damn this beat is out of control good!!!!!! So cool to check the instrumental and hear all the details without the vocal
woke up from a nap singing this song and the instrumental part amplified inside my brain so i put my headphones on and found this and holyyyyymolyyyyyyyyyyy
Hey Mister D.J. Put a record on I want to dance with my baby And when the music starts I never want to stop It's gonna drive me crazy Music Music makes the people come together [Never gonna stop] Music makes the bourgeoisie and the rebel [Never gonna stop] Don't think of yesterday And I don't look at the clock I like to boogie-woogie, uh, uh
Clearly inspired by Flat Beat, but a timeless banger in its own right nevertheless! This is what flat beat wanted to be, it feels like. Give the technology a cop of years to catch up!
i like that this song has 10 things going on and they mix incredibly well
well said

This beat still sounds fresh and modern 👌
Because in 2000 they wanted to give a future vibes to the electronic music.

Love this instrumental version ..who needs Madonna ...it's better without the vocals
yep
You still need Madonna since she’s co produced the music you’re talking about. Bye.
