Nice one! I really like these old Allied trucks, and their “signature” light setup. Nice to see a two man crew at one of these cleanups, I’d think logically all of the crews would be two man crews, but I guess they like running one man shows. I agree with you, this has that classic LEU sound, and it sounds great. There’s a few older Advanced LEUs around here that have the same sound, and the newer ones just don’t compare! Great video!
Thank you sir! I’ve always been a sucker for these older Allied trucks. For these cleanups it actually works better to assign only one guy to a truck, because if two were assigned to each truck they would fill up faster meaning more frequent trips to dump, while having more equipment they can get through faster. Not to mention if one guy fills up, sometimes they park and help out another guy anyway. I’ve always loved the sound of these older LEU’s though, so much nostalgia for me haha thanks for the comment!
guessing no more Roy Strom videos / lakeshore lol kinda shocked Republic didnt try and bid probably going broke since they lost alot of routes somebody said republic was charging cities too much for service others said it was the covid i dont know whats right or wrong
I have about a dozen Roy Strom videos to upload yet, so I promise there is more of them to come. Republic still makes money because they own a handful of transfer stations and MRF’s, where other companies dump so even though they have less work, they still contend in the market. Republic was just bidding too high to win anything back
@@MidwestTrashTrucks republic is strong here in ca they got orange country Oceanside Orange County has Wm and cr&r I heard rumors that wm and republic route supervisors spy on the drivers which is creepy unless they are doing something wrong its like they don’t trust them
