Cool, I like the folding support arms. I also have an Evolution saw, I got fed up with it launching chips all over the place, plus they kinda embed in everything and get tracked all over… so I welded up a 72x32 cutting/grinding “station” with a sheet metal funnel that directs the mess into a metal pot. The plasma cutter fits underneath, the Evolution and portaband sit on top. It has left, right, and rear deflectors, the left and right have removable sections that allow material into the saw and out the other side.
I love the design . . . building such a stand for my chop saw is on the list for today. I which you would have provided the measurements/plans for this build. Learned a lot from this video!
Nice , great that it doesn’t take much room and is very functional.
yea its a nice feature, takes seconds to setup

sounds like a cool build
Awesome design, I’m definitely going to build one for my saw. Thanks heaps.
Glad you like it!

Glad you liked the video. Dimensions were kind of make it work with what I had laying around. I will work on that in the future. Thanks
Almost done recreating your design, have you had some ideas for chip collection? Would love some input.
I just put a magnet behind the blade guard. I planned on putting a slide out tray but hasn't moved up the priority list.
what if you need to cut a 45 deg
rotate the fence, support the material with my tables.
Hougen sticks work well to help blade life.
I havent lost a blade since building this stand. Supporting the off cut made a huge difference.
