Wish each fight was a bit more different. They could of had Palkia "instant transmission" towards the player more often and maybe make itself invulnerable sometimes as it slips between dimensional space. Dialga could have froze the the player in time and slowed down/ speed up time on different attacks. Unique actions like that would have gone a long way showcasing their power.
That would have been so cool! Though I wouldn't have liked it if that battle became frustratingly hard either. But I agree they should have felt more powerful, as it kind of happened with Giratina.
I agree they could've played with the space/time manipulation, but I think a good reason for them NOT doing that is because their powers are inhibited by their "I Wanna Be God" forms.

I love how part of the song sounds like it's galloping and neighing like a horse and Palkia looks more like a pegasus in it's Origin form. And since I picked the Diamond Clan, I took on Origin Palkia. xD

so it turns out i was doing this fight wrong. i didn’t realize that when origin dialga/palkia charges up you’re supposed to spam balms and then throw in a pokémon to fight it (you know, like EVERY FRENZIED POKÉMON IVE ALREADY FOUGHT). instead, i basically dodged attacks the whole time without any pokémon battles making the figrh a lot harder and longer.

XD In Lightning Returns (FFXIII), during boss battles, if you perform a special "Overdrive" enough times, the battle music changes into something a little more peppy, somewhat akin to the transition in this song at 1:34 to the end of the loop. It just constantly comes to mind, so I wanted to share that, lol. This song is so much fun. I agree that this final encounter was easier than some of the other lords, but damn if it wasn't the most fun of them.

I don't particularly remember this OST too much. It may be because it lasted for no longer than 3 minutes for myself, but it is great. If only the battle lasted longer or had the option for rematches.
For as sick as this fight was, it was the easiest in the game and didn't die a single time. Electrode & Avalugg were harder than this, and they're the only 2 times I died in the whole game. Either way, 7/10 game most fun I've had with Pokemon in years.
Electrode was the hardest boss in my opinion, although I still haven't fought arceus because Im always left on a single half health pokemon by the time I make it to the first giratina fight
