Minors can be easily manipulated and coaxed with promises of fame or money. That's the whole reason why there's so many of them on OF. They see all these creators earning millions of dollars, that kind of thing does entice you. It's the parents' responsibility to keep their children in strict scrutiny. I think schools should probably teach about these kinds of things as well. As explicit as the topic is, they go over stuff like face to face grooming and all so why not this? Although it's not the minors' faults, it is still better to spread more awareness as well as hunt down these kinds of disgusting people in order to at least lower the number of these cases. That's just a suggestion though, I don't really know the inner workings of these people and where their obsession stems from. I'm not a psychologist and I'm not a police officer either haha

And what if the student's parents aren't good ones? They don't care about what happens to the child, about the child's life at all? Then someone needs to explain right? The reason why there is a minor classification in the law is that the law believes children under a certain age cannot make rational decision or they don’t know better which makes them easier to exploit.
