Probably would not play linkuriboh since Kuriboh was always a Yugi card. Maybe striker dragon would be better as a link 1 since its a dragon. I also think he'd be more on a link dragon vs branded since link dragon is, imo, a better engine.
I think Kaiba, early on in a series, would run Chaos Max. As time went on, I'd expect something like this, but with cards like Chaos Emporer, the Dragon of Armageddon over Albaz and Striker and Seals over Linkuriboh. He'd never use a Kuriboh
I agree about the Kuriboh. For gameplay it absolutely fits (I run it in my modern Kaiba deck too) but after Duelist Kingdom that man hates Kuriboh with a passion.
I hope this series keeps going to the minor characters. Rex got that strong dino support and Weevil has many bugs to choose from these days. Even Tea got real angels (fairies) to work with.
I like this, but I feel like he'd still be running Blue-Eyes fusions and support to some degree...and probably not as much non-Dragon Chaos. Feel like Branded's and Bystial, being "big dragons," are right in his wheelhouse, though.
For the Joey deck, may I recommend a combination of Red Eyes/gambler's deck. Since Joey was taught by Solomon who was a legendary gambler I think incorporating gambling would be good, plus Joey and Red Eyes go hand in hand like Seto and Blue Eyes and Yugi and Dark Magician.
I’m digging these modern decks, and it’s been inspiring me to make new decks in Master Duel to experiment. More of a theme than a strategy. So far I have Synchron Warriors and Cyberdark as one. And War Rock/Amazoness as another. And I’m looking forward to see your modern Joey deck, since there’s so many Red-Eyes cards now.
IMO, if you ever do a Joey video, he would try to pull off the Red-Eyes burn FTK. Only Red Eyes Fusion and 2 Inferno Fire Blast. It is a sacky luck based strategy AND it needs Red-Eyes so it fits him.

I would agree with your deck but I would also add tyrant dragon and chaos max. I think Kaiba also has a plan b and c: Plan b- abc union dragon buster Plan c- all the crush cards.
I think he would use Blue Eyes Tyrant Dragon still, i use it as well and recycling traps or battling an entire field without worrying about mirror force or other traps goes kinda hard sometimes. Works pretty well with my branded/bystial blue eyes deck
Joey playing a red eyes luck deck the red eyes support is actually pretty good feel like Joey would have a mix of red eyes dragons with flip this coin or roll this dice red eyes don't have a lot of luck draws but Joey's cards withe the red eyes support would mesh really well
Man I rlly think that yugi and kaiba would both play 60 card decks so u should be playing 60 card decks. Also with Joey I think that he would run a mainly red eyes deck with a jinzo thrown in there and maybe some bystials. But something fun that u could do with Joey is run only monsters cuz for like the first season of yugioh he had only monsters in his deck
This is supposed to be optimal, 60 cards decks that don't have absurd draw power/milling power just aren't good unless they have a crazy combo engine full of bricks they don't want in hand
Kaiba would definitely play a small package of ABC, x3 galaxy soldier, and maybe thunder dragon package if colossus came back. I have been working on this deck for a long time. Konami really needs to make a light type, Dragon or Blue Eyes Virus Card whose name is treated as crush Card virus (get fang of critious in there). Or eriata the others. A new “Dark clown” that works with either searching for blue eyes or a virus Card would be nice as well. Kind of like they did the the new lord of D variant
I'm not knowledgeable of modern mechanics at all because I played old school yu-gi-oh and then eventually stopped paying attention to it around the time 5D's started up. It's cool to see videos like this even though I'm ignorant to how modern yu-gi-oh is played. Like I feel like I understand it a little better because it's based around a character I grew up with. Nah I think that with all the support blue-eyes has he would run a blue-eyes bystial deck with the bystial cards splashed in so that they support blue-eyes but blue-eyes would still be the center of the show
Kaiba really has the most flexible options. Though I feel like kaiba is also the guy to put the OG BEUD just to use bystials to get 3 blue eyes and then fusion summon the OG ultimate dragon just to flex
Kaiba would absolutely be a D-link player who somehow tries to fit a blue eyes package in there. He would play the two chaos twin dragons for sure which is the main thing I feel is missing from this.

Hi, Rhymestyle that was me at of the end video. I drew a bad hand man. I was trying to make A dark magician and red eyes deck. My deck does suck, i was trying some new with my dark magicians. If, I get duel again. I will be ready with a better deck. It was nice to duel against you.
I reckon Kaiba would definitely be playing, Dark End Dragon and Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss; maybe Light End Dragon & Light and Darkness Dragon, though he may forgo them, strictly for room for more Blue-Eyes cards in his deck.

Initially wasn't sure about Bystials, but thinking about it more in card lore they are past kings turned into dragons and Kaiba himself DID use Chaos *Emperor* Dragon against Yugi. Altho also do feel like what cards are used would depend on which Kaiba we are talking about, Anime Kaiba mentioned earlier does obviously always go for what is competitive, but Manga Kaiba was never shown to use stuff like CED so feel like that version would focus a bit more on Synchro Blue Eyes and generic dragon support which would lean more towards OTKs.
He'd probably play mysterion the dragon clown and have peten the dark clown to act as a guaranteed fusion material. Cause kaiba wouldn't waste something as valuable as a tuner for a fusion summon. He'd probably also play saryuja skull dread and world legacy awakens as a battle phase combo.
In terms of cards that Kaiba would probably play in modern day Yu-Gi-Oh (besides Blue-Eyes obviously) it would have to be the XYZ, ZW, and ABC Union monsters. Yes, I know that the ZW monsters are Chaz’s cards, but they actively support the XYZ Dragon Catapult Cannon as a whole.

@rhymestyle nah, chaos max is still crazy today. Not being effected by your opponents card effects and inflicting double piercing damage is still really good. It forces your opponent to play aggressive.
Branded is a good call for modern Kaiba, but I think Kaiba would run some serious traps. Nix the Chaos and go with some kind of Lilith/Lair of Darkness setup? I think it'd be pretty cool if you could make that work with Blue Eyes. Maybe you could even try Fang of Critias fusions with that concept! Zeus is a solid Kaiba pick, but ain't no way he would allow Linkuribo in his deck, ever. Last note: Kaiba NEEDS some big honking Boss Blue Eyes. If you don't want to put Chaos Max in the main deck, run Ultimate Fusion. 2 Twin Burst and 1 Neo Ulimate in the Extra just feels right.

I feel like the only changes I would make would be adding striker dragon instead of linkriboh, have some more blue eyes extra deck cards and maybe Chaos Max
I love running into other dark magician players with bystials at that point it comes done too , if i use rod/circle will i get negated then its whoever has more bystials in their hand gets the lead lol
i'm not that familiar with modern yugioh but imo Yugi would play a mix of Dark Magician and Black Luster Soldier theme. Kaiba on the other hand obviously would play blue eyes and i think he either mixes it with the whole ABC stuff or goes full on Dragons. Joey would simplay play Red Eyes and pushing his odds with all kind of luck cards like coin flip, dice toss and other minigames. Weevil and Rex could play modern insect/dinosaur decks using all the modern support and hope to get a win or two... I would LOVE to see modern Toon/Thousandeye mix for Pegasus! Also remember Marik would not play a Ra themed deck because in the future Marik doesn't got Ra anymore. This could be a great chance to try for playing stall/burn in modern YGO?
allure does not need to be banned just cause its not a minus for specific decks. they might seems strong but more meta decks and hand traps are in play and can easily neg whatever + you get
I feel like he would still use chaos max, he likes a beat down with a blue eyes so him knowing that they can't use defense against him would be his style
people forget that duelists actually did look at their deck list and try to change them to counter opponents and make an overall stronger decklist. yugi would 100% cut the bad cards and play more modern meta strats, however i would 100% see yugi playing a very slow and trap heavy deck, since most of his cards are all about stopping the opp from attacking and stalling, while kaiba would 100% play as meta bewd as possible cus thats what he did in the show.

I feel like the only changes I would make would be adding striker dragon instead of linkriboh, have some more blue eyes extra deck cards and maybe Chaos Max

I love running into other dark magician players with bystials at that point it comes done too , if i use rod/circle will i get negated then its whoever has more bystials in their hand gets the lead lol

i'm not that familiar with modern yugioh but imo Yugi would play a mix of Dark Magician and Black Luster Soldier theme.
Kaiba on the other hand obviously would play blue eyes and i think he either mixes it with the whole ABC stuff or goes full on Dragons.
Joey would simplay play Red Eyes and pushing his odds with all kind of luck cards like coin flip, dice toss and other minigames.
Weevil and Rex could play modern insect/dinosaur decks using all the modern support and hope to get a win or two...
I would LOVE to see modern Toon/Thousandeye mix for Pegasus!
Also remember Marik would not play a Ra themed deck because in the future Marik doesn't got Ra anymore. This could be a great chance to try for playing stall/burn in modern YGO?
You should do this with friends but do 1 of everything for the challange bc its what they would have done except kiba with his 3 blue eyes
allure does not need to be banned just cause its not a minus for specific decks. they might seems strong but more meta decks and hand traps are in play and can easily neg whatever + you get
I feel like he would still use chaos max, he likes a beat down with a blue eyes so him knowing that they can't use defense against him would be his style
people forget that duelists actually did look at their deck list and try to change them to counter opponents and make an overall stronger decklist.
yugi would 100% cut the bad cards and play more modern meta strats, however i would 100% see yugi playing a very slow and trap heavy deck, since most of his cards are all about stopping the opp from attacking and stalling, while kaiba would 100% play as meta bewd as possible cus thats what he did in the show.
If lubellion and bystials come up again, chaos space can search it in a chaos deck,
