I've been at this forever... Cura say's the knife is too thin to print, on it's spine. I tried it flat, and the last inch-ish is about 1 later thick. Trying my best to work with this in Tinkercad, but, not having any luck. :(
Well, atleast how I did it was laying it down with its sharp angel facing up from corner to corner at 2150% scale, 10% infill, layer height 0.2, wall thickness 1.0 and wall line count 2. if you want to reshape it you can try meshmixer. Its my go-to for tinkering with files.
@@sashas1ash Thanks, I've been trying for a few hours to no avail. I cut the blade and handle, into 2 parts, so they PEG together. Maxed out my bed with the blade, and Cura still says it's too thin. I tried printing it on it's side a few different ways, with no luck. I'm still working on it. I may try it on it's spine, even though Cura tells me know. Maybe it's lying. Lol
Yes, definitely. Make sure your supports are stable for the full mask. If you're gonna sand and paint I recommend atleast prime and wet sand before painting. Just to get any imperfections out.
@Bruh • 10y ago and I scaled it to 400% I found that it's a nice size that fits most. It also helps to compare to other helmets or masks that are up to scale already or printed before.
I dont really have a pattern per say. I just used a refrence from google and traced it on to nylon. I added the image i used to the description just in case. 👍
For the tarp i got some nylon fabric at the local store and cut it in the shape using a refrence picture. Then for the hood i used a sewing machine to stitch it all together. There are good patterns online for these shapes. Then red acrylic paint. For blood, darken the red with some black.
I had a problem with my print the bottom half came out absolutely perfect but the top half did not do you have any socials I can add you on to send you pictures I could use the help lol
You can do it in meshmixer or tinkercad. I used meshmixer, click edit, plane-cut. Then just undo and flip. There are a couple of good tutorials on it as well.

Hi! I have an Ender 3 V2, what size would I print at? At first, I tried 380% and while I didn't even print half of the mask, it looked like it wasn't going to fit. So, then I tried 400% which is what you have in the description. But it still looks a bit small. It's not done printing yet. Do you think I should make it bigger?
At those sizes it still should be able to print on an ender 3. Not all sizes work the same on the slicer tho. These % work on cura and meshmixer. You can also measure it using an already sized mask or helmet or take your heads measurements and scale it to it on tinkercad.

And if you can film your self getting the matirials from homedepot or other places I would apreciated. Ps. If you ask why i want you to film your self getting the matirials is cause i would like to see it so i know where it is and stop slaking
@Alfg55 wow that shouldn't be 30 hours lmao. Try changing the infill or the travel speed or supports. I have it at a 10% infill with 50 speed and 60 for supports. Yes when I open it on cura I have to increase the size to 400% so it fits. You can play around with the size to fit your needs too.
Ok, this is amazing!! Here in my city there is a 3D printing "store", do I have to give them my exact measurements or does the mask have to be a little bigger than my face? They asked for my measurements :)
Well the size on the program Cura is 400% and it should fit most. So unless they use a different program for the slicing then measurement would be good too. O tho just a size increase is all thats needed.
Hey bro, great vídeo and awesome mask!! I'm from Brazil and i'm trying to do the same as you did, but i have a problem. The link of the file don't give the exact mask size. Wich size did you put to print yours? Thank you for your attention!

I'm a artist/mask maker and just got done sculpting a Devil Face mini bust that Im going to release sell a small batch of. Either way, let me know!
This is great. The mask, the comedy, your personality, everything. You earned a sub.

Do you think I would be able to spray paint the Walmart fun world mask ?
Painting a rubber mask with spray paint might stay sticky or crack when it moves. You could try light sprays. Or airbrush, Something superficial.
Nice job. Please make more types of ghost face mask
Yeah with different color and symbols
