I cannot thank you enough!!! I created a game within 30 minutes before class. You sir are awesome! Thank you again.
That's great! Hope it went well!
Also, I am using it in my church with much excitement and thrills. I have the questions and answers, then they have to provide the answers. This is a wonderful learning tool!
Such a life saver...literally a jeopardy game set up in minutes. Thanks for the insight!
Glad it helped!
I built my own, but the "followed hyperlink" isn't making the point value change color after it has been clicked on?
❤ This was awesome! It made my station at the Nursing Fair a hit! Thank you Jeff!
That is awesome! Glad to hear it!! 😃
This is a fantastic game to play with students! I used to go to the dollar store and buy a bunch of prizes and then divide the class into two teams that would play against each other :)
I always made sure to have some baby soothers - for those that would complain about any judgements on the rule :). Haha! - that’s funny in the right situation - be careful not to hand a baby soother to a class you just met :)
"Baby soothers" - love it! Always good to have prizes on hand. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so very much, you made it so easy, my students, Adults and I are having so much fun. And this is just the beginning.
That is great to hear - thank you!
Thank you for sharing this amazing powerpoint and all the work that went into it. One question, how do I get the numbers back to white, once they have been clicked on to play another time?
Thank you! You just need to close and reopen the PowerPoint
Huge thanks for saving our teams meeting (with an ice breaker) later today. You make me look like a pro. lol. I added background music and timing.
Awesome! I hope it went well!
Thanks so much! !!I love it and will have this for my students tomorrow morning. Could I also please know why mine are not grey out? Is there anything I need to do to have them grey? Thank you again!!
Hi - thank you! Are you using PowerPoint? If so, what version?
Can't thank you enough for this content and template!! I'll be using for my faculty classes with my students! I bet they will enjoy and learn!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!🎉🎉
You are so welcome! Thanks for the kind words! 😀
This is amazing! I'm teaching nursing students and this will be a fun interactive game to play in class!
Have fun!
Thank you! I've been wanting to host something like this with some of my friends, so this template will be incredibly useful.
Have fun!
It doesn’t gray out the numbers anymore ☹️
Downloaded the template recently and it is so customizable and easy to use. Thank you so much for this. I am planning on testing it out during a family gathering but I can already tell it is a hit. Thanks again!
Thanks alot for the feedback!
How do you delete a column
HOW DO I ADD MORE TILES FOR MORE QUESTIONS?
I can't download it. It shows me an error.
I don’t have the design tab in order to change the numbers color once selected.
The hyperlink
Great template - would like to expand the categories, any resources you can suggest appreciated as this is at the edge of my Powerpoint expertise
To add categories, I usually recommend duplicating the slide and then removing any extra columns (or use all if you need 5). Then, you need to create the question and answer slides and link to them. More info here: support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/bookmark-a-slide-and-link-to-it-from-elsewhere-in-the-presentation-f4d4b309-90ef-4df0-bd1c-f75e47bbd71a
Thank you very much, I learned a lot from you, good teacher. Now I can use it in games with the children.
Thanks for watching!
The game is awesome! Thank you very much. How can I delete a row?
Thanks! You just need to delete the objects in the row. Then you can move the other objects over by selecting and dragging.
Can we add a countdown for the game??
Thank you for this template its really helpful. If I want to create a new category how can I change the color of the accent of the new category? thanks!
The category boxes are rectangles so you can just click on them and then use "Shape fill" under "Shape Format" to change the color.
I purchased the Friendly Feud and it looks like it will work very well for me. However, I tapped on the free Jeopardy game template and tried it 4x and have yet to get the free template for it. Can you please follow through on the free template?
Please send me an email and I will be happy to help! Just respond to the email you received, Thanks!
I have created my own one but how can I change back the points from gray colour to white?
If you close the presentation and then reopen, they will reset back to white.
Love the template other than you’re not able to change the color on the linked pages sadly!
Hi Annalee - you can change the colors by going into the Slide Master view. Feel free to email me with any questions. Thanks!
Thank you for this! How do I delete Categories from the game board? Instead of 5 I want 3.
You just need to select and delete the ones you don't want and then move the others over.
I clicked on one of the categories to see if it worked and now I can't get the point value to go back to white to appear that it has not been chosen already. Help!
You just need to close the PowerPoint and reopen and they will reset.
Thank you so much for this video and information! Very helpful!
I was just wondering if I wanted to add another column on the table how would I do so? Do you have a video for that using this template?
Glad it was helpful!
I don't have a video specific to that. I think if you wanted to add a 6th category, you'd need to resize all the rectangles and then add a new column of rectangles. Then you would need to build the slides to correspond with the new category. It's doable but I would try to stick with the five categories/columns provided.
HOW do squares return to not being greyed out? super great resource. thank you!
Close the presentation and reopen and they will reset.
Did i miss how to get this on PowerPoint?? Whats the template called??
link is in the description, thanks!
Can't thank you enough man, thats a life saver!
Hi thank you so much for posting this - I have a question - I did a test run and clicked on the numbers and so the numbers went grey but I am not able to go back and make them white again - how do I do that ?
You just need to close the PowerPoint and then open it again
Thank you for this Brilliant , I question when testing , how do you reset a question
so after color goes grey ect how to reset as if question no exposed
I usually have to close it (the PowerPoint) and then reopen.
How do you add 2 more set of questions under each category?
It will be a bit involved but it is possible if you are comfortable with PowerPoint. Basically, you would need to resize all of the rectangles so that the extras will fit. Then, you need to create all of the extra question slides, then you need to set up the hyperlinks on the added rectangles on the first slide so they link to the new question/answer slides.
Thank youu so muchhh!! This saved me a lot of time for our last minute presentation ❤❤❤❤
Glad to hear that! Have fun! 🙂
literally me right now too🤣
What are the steps to getting the points grayed out? My company's laptop won't allow me to use PowerPoint, so I am having to create my own on google slides. Just curious to know if there is the same option. Thank you!
You can use this template with Google Slides and everything works fine EXCEPT for that. Unfortunately, Google Slides doesn't have an option for changing the hyperlink color.
Is this template still available? It is not being sent to me
Looks like you got it now, correct?
Hi, how do you reset the game so that the $100 link, for example, reverts to its original color once the game ends?
I think you have to close it and start it up again.
How do I add more questions and categories?
What I would do is to duplicate the category slide and add your new categories to that. Then, build out your answer slides and hyperlink to them.
Thanks so much, Jeff, for spending time to share this wonderful resource. This is very helpful and time-saving.
How is score kept? silly question but would like to know the easiest way as we'd like to play this over a Discord server
Scoring for this is done manually - I usually just use a pen and paper or a whiteboard or flipchart
Great activity
We use Google docs at our school, so I save the files to my Google drive in order to use them on our big screen display.
Unfortunately, anything on Google drive automatically opens in Google Slide.
The game still functions the same except for one issue.
The grey-out command doesn't work in Google Slide.
Do you know if there is a check box or option I can enable to make this work in Google Slide?
Unfortunately, no (at least not that I am aware of) - that has been my experience as well. Everything works except for the hyperlinks changing color. Sorry!
I clicked to download the template but it's not been sent yet. I checked my spam folder too.
It looks like it got sent to two different email addresses for you. You have to open the email and then click on the button inside. The subject line is "Here it is! Your Jeopardy PowerPoint Template"
After you have it ready and playing with it - how do you get the links back to white??
Just close and reopen. (that's the way I know how)
I need to know how to add an extra category
If you wanted to add a 6th category, you'd need to resize all the rectangles and then add a new column of rectangles. Then you would need to build the slides to correspond with the new category. It's doable but I would try to stick with the five categories/columns provided if possible.
Hello!! Loved the video and template, but o you know how i can add a column?

@@EraIsufi-li8jk Thank you! I think if you wanted to add a 6th category, you'd need to resize all the rectangles and then add a new column of rectangles. What is the template called
"Simple Jeopardy Style Game" is the file name.
How do you reset it after use
Just close and reopen and the hyperlinks will reset
this is great thank you
Which template do you search in ppt?
It isn't an included template in ppt - I have a link to it in the description.
Thanks a lot, very useful!
thank you!!! regards from Indonesia🥰
Thank you sir I am looking forward to playing this game
Have fun!
I did not hear how to download it?
Hello! The link is in the description
Hi ,I didn't get the template in my mail even after filling the form in link

Is there a way to grey out the numbers in google slides?
Hi Ana - sorry, I haven’t used with Slides and not sure how much of the functionality transfers over
I never got my template despite signing up
It looks like you got the email and clicked on the link to download but if that is not the case, go ahead and email me: jeff@yourlearningcareer.com
@@yourlearningcareer thanks I got it

Where do I download it?
The link is in the description

Hi Nancy - I'm showing that the email was delivered but that you haven't clicked the button to confirm and download. Check your Spam folder to see if it went there.
You forgot to show where to find the Jeopardy game in Powerpoint!?
I have a link here in the comments and also in the video description
Thanks, and a merry X-mas to you 🙂
@@joebunkers1944 Same to you! 🎄😃
I never got the template? How long does it take to send?
Hi Rita - the email might have gone into your spam folder. It says "Here it is! Your Jeopardy PowerPoint template!" Right now, on my side, it shows that it was sent but that the link has not been clicked on to download it.
How do I un-grey out the answered questions for playing again?
If you close the PPT and then reopen, they will reset to white.
Hi I'm trying to get the template but wasn't successful. Can anyone help me?
Hi Alisha - check your email. (and you may need to check spam folder) You need to open the email and then click the "Download and Subscribe" button in the email.
Thanks a lot good sir
Hi, it’s giving a error screen
Please send me an email with more specific information and i will be happy to help!
I have my game all set up. I made my own template. I cant figure out how to make the #s on the game board to disappear after they have been selected.
Hi Amanda - you could use an Exit animation along with a Trigger. Both options are in the Animations tab.
@@yourlearningcareer Yep. That is exactly what i did. It’s up and running great now. :)
Awesome! 😊
I love this.
Thanks!
once you have click the hyper link how can you make it look bold again instead of greyed out for other use
When you close and reopen, the links should go back to the original state.
how do i download the free template
Link is in the description
So good ! Thank you
Thanks for watching!
I never got the template
It will be in an email. Make sure to check your spam folder.
@@yourlearningcareer thank you I got it!!
Dang, I was so excited to find this video and was ready to build my game! Only to discover the template is no longer available... Womp womp :(
@jefrantz1964 Here is a more direct link: templates.office.com/en-us/color-coded-quiz-show-game-tm00001134
@@yourlearningcareer Thank you for that. I wonder why it didn't show up when I searched for game? Weird...
@jefrantz1964 Weird indeed! I just typed in "game" and it brings up a Food Catering Request form. I don't know what changed since I recorded but I have updated the link in the description too so it will just go directly there. Thanks for letting me know!!
Thanks, super helpful :)
So glad to hear that!
I thought it was free, it's asking me for credit card info 😢
Yes - I have a new one that is for sale but this one is still free. Just look in the description for the link. Sorry for any confusion!
Thank you so much 😭😭😭😭
You are very welcome! 😊
