Johnny and his brother's band played at my wedding in Stoneham in 1959, and later I had the chance to see him perform in Toronto. Nice to see him again, though he's lost a little weight. :) I used to like when he sang like Hank Snow., would love to see that again.

He was a fine singer all the way around and in my opinion, easily rivaled his contemporary WWVA Saturday Night Jamboree regular, yodeler Kenny Roberts. Johnny also appeared as a guest on that radio show many times. This is the first time I've heard him in 40 years and I must say he sounds every bit as good as I remember him. He hasn't lost a lick.
Yodelling seems very therapeutic and especially listening to Johnny White it relaxes one immensely. I find it very fascinating how some folk yodel so well! Absolutely superb to listen to him!
It sure was nice seeing Johnny on this video, when I was a kid my parent's (back in the early 1970's)went to go see him somewhere in MA and they bought is 8 track. Well I listen to that all the time and just loved his style. Loved to see him in concert. Cheers, Scott

I have known Johnny since I was a little girl I am now 77. My dad was his milkman way back then. He is a very kind man and a fantastic yodeler!
