This been this way the past two weeks and still today. I use a 9in wire leader line so those fish don’t snap line They are not line shy at all when there eating like this
@@GunnFishTV just asking, my opinion, just mine they are trash fish. Bleeding helps with the strong taste. Some people love them. Some don’t. I used to fish for Spanish and Kings a lot. Never liked to eat them. Blues are easy to catch when they are running but the same thing. Way too strong of a taste for me. To each their own though!
@roberttysinger4837 I like spanish pretty good. Im actually going to make Mackeral cakes out of them. I've never had blues before so I will know when I cook them. I was told to cut all the red meat out of the fillets so I did that

Great video! Glad you guys got into them like that. Had a similar day back in June with speckle trout at the OBX. Inshore Virginia?
Yes. We were in Virginia. I plan to do some inshore in the OBX as well
They are as thick as they use to be in the 80s.
Its crazy!!!
This in virginia?
Yes
Do you bleed your blues and Spanish?
I didn't, but honestly you really should based off everything I have read. I may do a comparison of both ways
