eeeeek what a great collection. I was anxiously waiting for the lipsticks and they are so pretty however I think I like the Chanel holiday lipsticks better because of the shine and the finish. The DIOR look so stunning in the package though.
Ive been ridiculously excited about this colorful palette! The pink is sooooo stunning and when I got it yesterday, I literally do not have anything in my collection like it. The green was a suprise and just breathtaking. I've never spent this much on nail polish before but I ended up with the same one you got. It is so pretty on my vanity. I love this pink bubbly corner of the internet!

You definitely do not have horrible taste in make up. I love that Mardi Gras pallet. The pink shadow with red lips look flawless as always. I'm a Dior girl. So, thank you for this
Oh I’m so happy you did this review I’ve been waiting to see what it was like I did purchase the sparkle nail polish always get one at Christmas time but oh boy I love the bright eye shadows and really would like to get that one But not sure if I’m to old for those colours unless I could make them a bit more softer looking thought you looked beautiful the way you did your make up as always and I can tell how excited you are me to makes my tummy go funny 😂 I love this time of the year with the new Christmas make up . I got the browny-pink lipstick. Turning into a daily wear & it goes so nicely with the Chanel holiday collection, which didn’t have a lip color I really liked. I sank my buying into the Chanel since they’re featuring my colors for once.
This collection is so gorgeous, I have Passion lip and nail in my cart and the glitter polish. I think the fourth color might go with your eye look - not sure, I'd have to see it on, but it is a bright color that may go with the pink shadow. The lipsticks surprised me too, I thought it would have more sparkle, but I'm glad it doesn't -- it's easier to wear. Thank you for showing us this collection. Hi Erin, You look beautiful, of course, but you might want to get the violet Diorific. I have it and love it. I have and love them all! It’s so fun to see someone who shares my excitement with this collection. One thing that just floored me playing with the eyeshadows is how they blend and change into new colours right on the skin. Like paint. Can’t wait to see your reaction to the Guerlain collection. I am using the meteorites (gorgeous) as blush.
I can't wait to see the violet! We didn't get it in yet for some reason and I am patiently waiting for the Guerlain collection :) This collection is really so special! xx
Great Dior holiday collecion! I like this one much more than the one from Chanel, which is a bit "same old, same old" - no surprising elements and a bit gloomy. The Dior one is fun, cheerful and stunning.
The eyelook is really pretty but man I would’ve loved that silver in the inner corner as silver and pink go great together! Thanks for showing the collection 💕
Love this collection! I bought the gold eye palette. I’m glad you bought both. The bright pink shadow looks great on you!! And the lipsticks are beautiful!
I will check out the colour bomb quad! Love metallic bold colour eyelooks...everyday 💕 So it's a "love" from my side. I will also check out topcoat nail polish, has the one from 4-5years ago and even it's now dried to more pasty(have finned it out twice) , it has always been tons of glitter in one coat! 2 Questions... How is the longlivity of the pink shadow? Have a pink metallic from Dior (middle color in 887 Thrill) and it's fading really fast (after 3-4h it's no longer vibrant at all)...The lipsticks, in that bullet they have always tasted or smelled "lipstick-taste" for me. So I have never bought them. I really dislike that taste, how is the taste this year? How is the wear time, like a matte lipstick or a creamy one? Are they comfy on and do they highlight if you have not perfect peeled lips? Love the fun collection and it feel luxury, without being discreet! I have not even reflected on 2020, I am more of a December-turn-into-January person, with a cozy dinner with my man in the middle and watching the sky turn into a galaxy war of fireworks at 12pm!
That sounds like the perfect NYE :) I love the lipsticks this year! Very long wearing and comfortable matte finish but they do have a very lipstick-ish smell/taste.. it doesn’t bother me but if you’re sensitive to that it might bother you. The eyeshadow lasted on me, I didn’t notice any fading :) xx

Erin, what a pretty eye look, that bright pink is just the star of the palette, what a color 🌟 My Gosh, I didn’t quite realize we’re on the threshold of 2020 (I mean... just the number itself!!) until you said it in your intro!.. that IS big!... Now, you mentioned the nail polishes (other than the one you picked up) are rather matte?.. I was interested in the red one, it looked online like it was a deep shimmery red... no?.. last year’s golden color was gorgeous, I’m glad I picked it up. I was hoping for a shimmery red, but if it’s not, it’ll be a skip:( You’re right not to have picked up liquid eyeshadows- I did get one from the fall collection & it’s such a disappointment, I wish I’d have gone with a palette instead.
ThNk you Victoria! I completely agree with the pink eyeshadow in the palette. It’s hard to really tell just by looking at the bottles of polishes but I can’t see any shimmer whatsoever. I was thinking about getting BF the purple but decided against it since it was plain. Christmas and New Year’s are my favorites holidays but I really want time to slow down lol xx

I'm always attracted to jewel toned palettes but I never go for them because when would I wear them?? But gosh, after convincing myself I shouldn't get Pat McGrath, Dior comes out with these. And it's exactly what I agree with -- I don't need 50 shades, but this is well curated, and surprised to see the Party palette swatched! smoothly!

Hi Nicole, I wanted to give you a cosmetic suggestion. Like you, I am a big luxury product consumer. Including liquid eyeliners. TF, Chanel, Dior etc.. however, the Best, and I mean the Best eyeliner I have ever used is by Inglot. It's in a little pot and you use it with an eyeliner brush. It goes on more easily and stays on better than anything else. If you try it, let me know your thoughts, Allison
Good review! I don’t own any Dior eyeshadow quad , Dior hasn’t wow me yet 😂 but hopefully soon. Hey don’t hate these quads, but not a fan of them. You came up with a pretty eye makeup 😊
They aren’t too similar... but it would depend on how many palettes you own. They are actually quite different but could certainly serve the same purpose for a night out look :) xx

I must be the only person in the world who doesn't like the lipstick packaging I have one from a couple years ago, and while the colors are pretty it's just too bulky for my liking. I feel the same with the Guerlain Rouge G line. Love both of the eyeshadows!
It is bulky! You’re totally justified lol The Rouge G lipsticks are huge too! But I don’t mind carrying them in a big purse... they won’t fit in a small clutch :/ xx
Thanks for demoing this collection Erin! I've decided to skip. I wanted the palettes when I saw the promo photos, because I thought they would be darker and a satin or matte finish - except the center shade. Once I saw they are shimmers, I was disappointed. My inner collector wants them because: Dior! But, I just don't reach for shimmers and rainbow colors very often. The sparkle lippie is GORGEOUS! The only Dior holiday lipstick I tried (a few years back) was the WORST lipstick I ever tried! I ended up returning it - I rarely return makeup. It was that bad (formula-wise). And, I tried everything I could think of to make it work. Now I'm afraid to try any more for fear I'll have to return (waste) them. Nothing else from the collection spoke to me. So, it's a pass on Dior. I actually feel like this about most of the holiday collections so far. Oh well, more $$ for other things! I will say, I can see these making nice holiday and new years' eve party looks. Hope you enjoy your selections!

They aren’t too similar... but it would depend on how many palettes you own. They are actually quite different but could certainly serve the same purpose for a night out look :) xx

I recently found out a lot of lipsticks have lead in them. I wish the brands would openly say if they were lead free.

I must be the only person in the world who doesn't like the lipstick packaging I have one from a couple years ago, and while the colors are pretty it's just too bulky for my liking. I feel the same with the Guerlain Rouge G line. Love both of the eyeshadows!
It is bulky! You’re totally justified lol The Rouge G lipsticks are huge too! But I don’t mind carrying them in a big purse... they won’t fit in a small clutch :/ xx
Thanks for demoing this collection Erin! I've decided to skip. I wanted the palettes when I saw the promo photos, because I thought they would be darker and a satin or matte finish - except the center shade. Once I saw they are shimmers, I was disappointed. My inner collector wants them because: Dior! But, I just don't reach for shimmers and rainbow colors very often. The sparkle lippie is GORGEOUS! The only Dior holiday lipstick I tried (a few years back) was the WORST lipstick I ever tried! I ended up returning it - I rarely return makeup. It was that bad (formula-wise). And, I tried everything I could think of to make it work. Now I'm afraid to try any more for fear I'll have to return (waste) them. Nothing else from the collection spoke to me. So, it's a pass on Dior. I actually feel like this about most of the holiday collections so far. Oh well, more $$ for other things! I will say, I can see these making nice holiday and new years' eve party looks. Hope you enjoy your selections!
Thank you! I really love the Dior lipsticks, I wonder if they have changed the formula since the last time you tried them. Their creamy lipsticks are also really nice. I'm excited to keep creating looks for parties and NYE... I always believe that if you don't 100% love something it's not worth the money so I'm happy to hear you are being smart and saving for something perfect :) xx
