That is such a wierd server - custom shaped and decorated peris for the absolute most random stuff - dont get me wrong its cool, but i just cant wrap my head around it. And the double URF is certainly a choice.
@@eagle-from-aut That's what you do when you've done all the basic stuff. Most people stop when they have the basic farm or may decide to build only. But most don't realise that even if you want to keep farming you have plenty of options
I can understand it feels weird what they do because almost nobody else is doing the same thing, but to me it's original, not weird
@@Elyrio3 yea for sure original is a better word than wierd since wierd has negative connotations. I do also think its cool as i said. Its just that most people wouldnt put so much effort into decorating a wandering based creeper (record) farm for instance. I also find it interesting that this server largely seems to build already established designs and puts focuses their efforts more on decoration than development. Thats totally cool as well ofc
The way I look at it is why do the same thing that every other single server is doing. Make it unique and do it your own way and style. Also anyone can make the farm, but it’s what you do with it that makes it special. Ery kind of mentions this in the tour but doing these perimeters for these farms that for sure don’t even need a perimeter makes it feel complete. Building stuff on top of normal terrain or on the bedrock roof just feels like a half completed project imo. But going that extra step makes it that much more satisfying in the end because like you said, not everyone is going to do it which is exactly what I am going for

How does farms like parrot and polar bear farm work? Is there an explanation video for all these farms? Amazing nevertheless.
Like most mob farms they used the specific spawning rules of the mobs you're trying to farm. I think both of these were made by Fallen Breath

@@qmso I don't see why you would need any farm if it isn't to build more farms in your world xd. A parrot farm that gives you feather isn't less useful than a carrot farm

If you check Squishy's channel there is a link to all the available farms, the decorations aren't public tho

they make perimeter for most useless farms such as polar bear parrot strider farm who even need these 😂😂
Why would these farm be more useless than other farms? A farm like an iron farm is useful only because it allows to build other farms. And that's literally the point of tmc to farm everything in the game. And everything means stuff like polar bear or parrot.
Even without considering that, the parrot farm might be the most interesting farm in the showcase
