Snaps are reinforced with nylon. I love my flips! They hold sentimental place in my heart because they were the first cover I tried with a flat after I was converted from pocket diapers.
I have the exact same flip cover and love it!! Even with my tiny newborn its a cover I'm constantly reaching for I love the stretchy tabs!!! I fold my flats with this cover I plan on getting more for my stash as I only have 1
I, too, love Flips. Do you know if the Flip Night Time inserts are any different than prefolds? Also, I find Cotton Babies products are the first to break. We just lost a snap to a Flip Diaper two days ago.
I have the Flip Night Time Prefold. I actually just bought it for the purpose of doing a Sunday Absorbency Test. It's the same size as say a Smart Bottoms Large, or HempBabies Large but made out of the buttery soft organic cotton of the flip daytime inserts. It's multi layer sewn into thirds and thirds (think 9 squares). I don't that absorbency numbers will be out till like May, but it's about 15 ounces if I remember.

@@ClothDiaperPodcast I noticed that GroVia's elastics aren't that great either, do you still have GroVias in your stash? Because all the reviews I have seen talk wonderful things about them, I found them not that great.
Maria Vargas I only have my science stash which is one of each left style left. It’s not in current rotation. We only know what we’ve tried and since GroVia I’ve tried other brands that just perform better for my kids and my needs 🙈 I try to remember that when I get raged about someone saying so and so Diaper is the best. Experiences are limited. Including mine
These are just way to expensive for me. I don’t like spending more than $10 on mass produced diapers. I love supporting wahms and don’t mind spending $30-$40+ on their diapers. The quality of BG just doesn’t impress me. Buybuy baby had them on clearance and the elastics were so stretched out. On brand new diapers!
They are produced in the United States. I wouldn’t really call them mass produced. They fall into the same category as Thirsties or SmartBottoms Probably age. I’ve just never had a problem with anything I’ve bought over the years 🤷♀️

Super unfortunate on the Flip quality. I haven't had any troubles with my bumGenius problems compared to other brands like Blueberry Diapers.

My flips are fairly new, still the elastics are not the best, I only flat dry, not even hang dry.
I’m so curious why and how some people struggle with this brand. I did use to dry mine occasionally

Definitely a hit or miss thing. Nerdy Mommas cover doesn’t have one
