    I really wish stores here in the US carried a bigger selection. We get like 50 choices of whiskey in every store. Lucky if we find 1 or 2 absinthes in any store here. People are missing out on what a great absinthe tastes like. I would choose a great glass of absinthe over a great whiskey or wine any day. The flavor is much more unique. The music analogy was spot on. There's so much flavor in a great absinthe that comes together in such a beautiful way.

    @mfc9075 Stefano Rossoni was the first Italian absinthe distiller and he put Italy on the map when it comes to absinthe. His accomplishments are definitely on par with Breaux and Bugnon so saying that he's "a normal Italian guy" just proves that you are a troll.

    But... Mr. Rossoni:
    A normal italian guy.... that is a... creator, only... when he reach the perfection.

      Vero, pur partendo dal basso, con una concorrenza di professionisti internazionali molto importante, gli assenzi di Stefano Rossoni hanno avuto un ruolo importante nella comunità assenziofila internazionale. L'alta qualità riconosciuta dai maggiori esperti al mondo, tanto che alcune sue bottiglie fuori produzione sono state vendute all'asta ad alcune migliaia di euro.
      Non a caso i suoi assenzi più speciali sono tra i più imitati, a volte con risultati grossolani.
      Si può considerare anche che nella classifica dei migliori assenzi stilata da Wormwoodsociety, la principale associazione e fonte d'informazione sull'Assenzio in America (analoga all'Académie d'Absomphe in Italia), due degli assenzi di Stefano Rossoni si sono mantenuti costantemente nella top ten per quasi quindici anni. Il suo L'Ancienne ha sempre oscillato tra il primo e il secondo posto per i voti più alti in assoluto.

      Only a creator? Have you by any chance tasted l'Ancienne? I recommend it, it is a masterpiece, as is the Montagneuse. To define it only as a creator seems to me very reductive, then every opinion is legitimate, of course.

      I'm not sure I understand this english, but I interpret this positively as in "he creates only when he reaches the perfection". If that's not the case, then I disagree, since his are on a league of their own
