You appear to miss the whole point as to why it's called "dogging". The quadraped is just a prop for the real point of the exercise. Nope, they're not vital, but for expediency they're "handy" to have , hence why it's called that, if you're skulking around the woods looking for "some action". And no, i've never partook !!

i think it is called dogging , because dogs are not shamed to do it in public , so in UK people meet in their cars park up and do what dogs do
