    Amazing how far led's have come, it was only 10yrs ago that people were saying led's didn't have a future

      10 years ago they were saying that LEDs are 10 times efficient than HID or something that creazy, when in reality it was at least twice less efficient per watt. Ppfd was not known back then to most. Quantum meters were expensive. They were saying there CFL is more efficient than HPS as well and one 200W is equivalent of 600-1000W HPS.

      Plenty still think hid is the only way. Fossils

    These videos are great! Really appreciate you taking the time to make them. I’ve been rocking the x6 w/ diy co2 for over a year. The results are fantastic. Sleek, great build quality, efficient, great light spread, enough space between bars to easily hang UV, really low heat output, more than enough usable light.... I continue to be really happy with my purchase.
    ChilLeds new “ultra” fixture is especially impressive. Everything about it is really remarkable except the price tag. A fella can dream tho...
    Edit- scratch this past part. Found it on your website

      That X6 must be quite the unit. The ultra stuff looks nuts.

    I had a X-3 in the 330 Watt & the others a X-3 500 Watt and this is absolutely the best breakdown of the fixture, you show off how durable yet sleek looks. You covered every detail perfect man. Wish I'd had a video like this 15 months ago because it was hard making the sacrifice to pay a little more when bar light's came strong after my buy but in comparison it's still probably best light spectrum wise and the veg spectrum is great too if you really like blue in veg. 6500K T-5s still do possibly the best job producing beautiful moms or plants for flower (I mean nice shit) cell tissues look vibrant and strong. Their flower spec Is little bluer than most but the terp and resin6come with it. I have a Electric Sky V3 so I know comparisons and they arguably the two best 2x4 or 3x5 tent monster's made with a strong sense of efficiency and long-term useability year's of growing! You won't need another light because with the measurable PAR it already exceeds all plants limits so your wasting money trying to add anymore light. If anyone buys the X-3 and are not happy with it I'll trade you my ES V-3 for it. All are 330 Watt lights and the V-3 will beat the X-3 PAR wise decisions

    Im doing research for a new light in my 2x4 and Ive narrowed it down to the Growcraft X3-330 and the Optic Slim 320S.Main differences is the Optic is a mix of 3000k & 3500k while the ChilLED is 3000k & 5000k.The Optic also has 450nm Royal Blue and UV(X3 has neither).Leaning towards the Optic cause it has UV and its also about $200 cheaper for the prebuilt model($549 for the Slim 320S and $729 for the Growcraft X3).I was wondering have you reviewed the Optic Slim 320S?If so,how does it compare to the Growcraft X3 and which would you choose?

    Hi ! Could you please test the chinese quantum board from kingbrite, meizu ? id love to see how the 240w in a 2x4 or the 480w in a 4x4 space performs in comparaison to other lights.

    Would you recommend the X3 Mini 200 W for a 3x3 or going with 2 Chilled Logic pucks on a HLG 185 1400B?
    Both options would be paired with 4 Cxb 3590s ran at HLG 185 1400B on the corners of the lights. Looking for an efficient DIY build

    • @dontpanicitsorganic4211

    • @LEDGardener
      @LEDGardener  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t unfortunately. The logic pucks I have are old and there would be so many variables for spacing with them.
      Gotta go with the X3 Mini above.

    • @bradharvy13
      @bradharvy13 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think when I talked to support, they said the 6x was less efficient, possibly better spread, though. I went with the 6x. Not unhappy at all. This is my 4th run, I'm finally getting the hanging height and power down. Ease in! I've yellowed a few, lol. I run at 24 inches at 3/4 power till I feel they can handle more. Once 2 weeks into flower, I turn it up and keep raising to keep 16 inches. Great light. I have to keep the driver inside the tent to keep the heat up! Take out in summer if warm. !

    Someone enlighten me if I’m wrong. From my point of view the only difference between a light like this and Mars Hydro is build quality and efficiency, basically this light will last longer than most lights and cost you less on electric bill.

    • @LEDGardener
      @LEDGardener  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Does Mars Hydro have a 2x4 light with a footprint that will give this kind of coverage or a driver with this much power? I’d imagine ChilLED’s customer service is top-notch as well.

    Copied? Everyone is useing lm301b and lm301H
    Chilled just uses more of em. Which is a good thing.
    But absolutely NOTHING unique about the light.
    Shane at miigro gets alot of praise but yiur testing is so much more complete.
    Don't get me wrong this is a absolutely killer light.

I actually have 3 harvests under the SP3000 in a 3×5 scrog with 3 photos each time. Last harvest I hit 645 grams 2.15 GPW..about 8 zips per. Thats only 20 watts per square foot.
