A lot of people don’t understand that the strategy in this game is quite different from regular video poker. It’s all about the possibility for multipliers on the next hand. One little example is in double double regular video poker you discard the two pair for two aces...in ultimate x you hold that pair and go for the full house.
I recently hit a good one at Ocean Resort in AC. I was betting max and was dealt three Aces. Only the top hand had a multiplier, a 4. Sure enough when I drew new cards, the top hand was dealt a four, the kicker, and another Ace. I won 2000 credits multiplied by 4 = 8000 credits. Fun game .
I may be wrong, but it appears that video poker is a game that you don't play very long. Get ahead and bail. If you stay to long the bad hands start eating away at your cash.
That was fun to watch, thanks for sharing! I love ultimate x but the multiline eats up my bankroll too fast for my liking. Hopefully next time you will come out ahead.
Excellent play, tough game to win, specially if you don't catch anything on high multipliers. the strategy also changes slightly based on the current multiplier.
@1:45 should hold pair of 3s instead of open straight. (in DDB you never hold open straight with 2 low pairs except when the low pair is 10. in TDD you go for the open straight if low pair is not 2/3/4) @3:45, should hold suited 9, J, K for straight flush. @10:30 should hold suited 8, T Q for straight flush. (suited 3-to-SF with one high card is better than non-suited 2 high cards). You should stop playing and start to train yourself...3 major mistakes in 10-minute play is worse than ugly. Train yourself to make sure you make at most 1 mistake per hour at home then play in the casino.
I read some comments and it seems you genuinely want to play the mathematically correct strategy. This is not it. The multipliers change how aggressively you go after certain hands. Therefore, if you look it up, you will find that you are supposed to hold AAKK over AA. AKoff over A. Even 3 to a flush is supposed to be held. There are sometimes exceptions based on current multipliers. You even made mistakes for regular ddb strategy such as holding KQsuited instead of KQ9suited.
We are aware UTH has different strategy because of the multipliers. We made this video to show some gameplay knowing we would make some minor UTH-specific errors. The other comments posted outright incorrect advice regardless of UTH or other DDB game types.
Thank you for uploading this video! I appreciate your excellent strategy, but generally I stay away from Ultimate X, since it depletes your bankroll too fast (in my opinion anyhow).
What i've notice how video poker machines start giving out good cards but after it just keeps getting nasty until you quit or run of outta money. But it helps to know the strategy. My tip is just switch machines💪💪💪💪😁
Yea. Listen to tips from someone who doesnt understand math or thinks that machines arent entirely random. Horrible, wrong and entirely useless advice.
What are you talking about? When did we ever hold two face cards and a pair? You are clueless. Even more clueless than some of the other people here who don't realize the game is based on math. 😂😂
It's like the Ike Turner school of gambling, when you slapping em make sure you put some stank on it!!! Show that machine who's in charge and keep your pimp hand strong player!! LOL
Dude--when yo u are dealt a draw of J and 10 of hearts along with a Q of clubs and 2 throw aways..you should be holding the two SUITED cards for a ROYAL the J and 10, stop holding TWO unsuited Pictur cards--a straight is worth crap vs a ROYAL
You should really learn the game before you try to teach, especially with such angst. Unsuited JQ is the 30th best dealt hand and JTss is the 32nd best dealt hand. You are completely wrong. Of course, you probably hate math based on your angry and incorrect reply.
@@LetsGambleUSA Y.OK--I just got back from Foxwoods with 16K in my pocket o n a royal my holding two suited ar 10.00 a hand in triple double bonus....you keep holding those unsuited looking for a strait paying 3:1. Good luck Schmoopie
@@Piggy-Oink-Oink Why don't you learn how to google "double double bonus strategy" instead of making things up? You are wrong. That is a 100% fact, not opinion. Dude.... fun to watch you lose money, but you need a couple pointers. 1. Don’t hold 2 pair when one gets you a payback. Leave your draws for a potential 4 of a kind. 2. Don’t hold unsuited face cards, leave the draws open for a royal.
Dude. You have no clue what you are talking about. Dude. Learn to use Google and basic math because there is a fixed, correct strategy for proper play that you clearly don't understand. Dude. Don't comment on things you have no clue about. Dude.

I enjoyed watching and am learning double double bonus. Are there any scenarios where you’d hold AA only even if there is another pair on the board?
If your average multiplier is 7 or more then hold just AA instead of 2 pair.
Source: ultimate x app by Playperfect.
Always hold AA when dealt 2 pr.

Why is it 10 per hand? I never understand why it’s that much more
You are hitting the buttons with no control and way to hard. You are NOT enjoying yourself.
Could you hit the buttons harder! Angry gambler!
That was frigging BRUTAL! Loved seeing the video poker but that machine was tight! Good luck on your next game!
Yes it was. Thanks for watching.
When you have an under pair and 3 to a flush you should hold the three. The object is to get flushes and fullhouses in ultimate x
Black Knight well you can say that but trust me it works more times than not. I’ve won thousands using that strategy
Does being a slapper help! I always thought this was very rude!
This game is my kryptonite, lol! When it hits it hits. Good luck! ☺️
You need to slow down
my favorite game but often times proves to be deadly
Objective is to go for flushes instead of pairs

Multipliers have no effect on strategy.
@@patrick_kyker That is not true but I will let you and Bobby debate that one :)
Hate when the machine doesn't do a dam thing
I played this a Caesars palace it was great . Won a bunch . Was this at ceasars or where if u can say ? Disregard the haters
Please slow down. Hard to see on computer.
why isn't it 5 bucks a hand what am I missing?
@@truthseekerKJV you think it's worth it? I'm new
You pay an additional $5 per hand for the Ultimate X feature I believe.
Dude.... that game was awesomely horrible 😩
Better luck next time... you’re due for a big hit ‼️

We have thought that we are due for years :)
That's the way I do it, run that SOB down to 1 credit, bet it all and loose.

Ive only won playing dueces bonus on ultimate x its hard to win on double double..triple bonus worth it tho.super times play also
Ice Cold!
Such a quiet casino
Horrible player...it makes no sense to keep two face cards and 2 5's or whatever....same payout as just keeping the face cards....

rekt. Play real poker you can actually win.
Ugh this game is the worst. Did you ever catch a good hand on the 12x? Better off playing “Triple Double Bonus” at least there is a progressive
