Daigo is getting better with akuma. I watched one 3 weeks ago vs this one. You can feel the confidence... Just like 8 years ago. He is going to convince me to buy a game I can't play, just so I can lie to myself about being semi good

Why are Japanese players using english VA for Akuma?

In a fun twist, where ENG players tend to prefer JAP voices, JAP players tend to prefer ENG voices. Couldn't tell you why, but it is true more often than not.

I think it's just the creators language version. I know Kakeru uses Japanese but his replays come out english.

Not for people who love the character. For me akuma is too much work . But to others they don’t mind the work since they like him as a character

@@StephGoKrazy Oh I love Ed. He's my main and I find him very fun. But sometimes I just think I need to play extra well to be able to win. Unlike dee Jay for example who is my second favourite

Ed plays more like an actual stinger style boxer in that he doesn't pop out the biggest damage but his attributes and reliability when it comes to getting the damage IN compensates heavily for that weakness. He has good reach and fast normals and plenty of mobility, so he works really well when he can just punish or out-read opponents.

@@naquito3000 I’m also an Ed main and I kinda get what you mean . You have to be on point to play ED pretty well. Also you think it’s easier to win on Dee jay even after the damage nerfs?
