@@thenextlevel112 Being a villain is much easier, you can give in to your desires and forgo any discipline or self-control. Being a hero is significantly more difficult, because you are always fighting against yourself and the world and you must be strong in your convictions.
The way I think about things, the hero’s are way more badass. Especially the hero’s willing to put the bad guys down for good. But that’s just my 2 cents, edgelord.

I don’t remember if tritium itself is ever mentioned in it, but Otto’s first appearance is him working on creating a new source of power, and the explosion is what fused his legs to his arms and drove him insane. The Raimi movie actually does a good job of telling it.
Superior octopus just makes more sense to me. Ock tried to be spider-man and learned he can't do things the way Peter can he needs to grow without being in Peters shadow

To answer the question about The inverse of the harmonic frequency, basically to put complicated science terms in English. the comic is saying like Atoms arent static they all vibrate at a natural frequency. so when spidey combines all this stuff to make a star it would be a harmony of frequencies. so the doctor is saying if we try to set up our machine to vibrate at the opposite of the frequency of the star, it should contain it. hope that explains it
I was just think of that exactly.
basically the machine would blast a whole bunch of very specific particles at the exploding star to create enough pressure around to contain it. hope that simplifies incase the above sounded like a bunch of nonsense to anyone. Who knows if it would work, as its a whole bunch of theoretical science and this is a comic book anyway lol

Circa 11:30 and correct. Inverting the harmonics would lead to a cancelation of the explosive output rather than enhancing it. If you want to control a force, start with it being net zero in a controlled state.

When a tone, and it's inverse tone are played in unison, they essentially cancel eachother out. If the note was an A...and the opposing frequency was played, you would end up hearing silence. nothing. as it's been cancelled.

@@kto0312 Glad you got the joke 🤣. But in all seriousness. The inverse of the harmonics wouldn't start a reaction since this known as destructive interference. The waves cancel each other out. Using constructive interference where you match the harmonics, hence producing wave a form twice the height of the original wave form. Or produce a higher frequency to the original frequency which will produce a low frequency but a longer wave length which has been known to levitate objects in real life.
This is correct as far as frequencies. As far as their use here the only thing I can think of making sense is the harmonic vibration of the star was too powerful to keep the fusion reaction stable, and it was producing more energy than the star could reasonably keep up with.
By playing the inverse and canceling out whatever energy the frequency was adding to the equation it let the core stabilize and the fusion reaction became self sustaining instead of self destructive.
Man, seeing the tritium fusion reactor from Raimi's Spider-man 2 make its way into the comics was kinda fun.
I think that losing Superior Spider-man to another Deus Ex Mephisto was an unnecessary change. I'd love to see Otto spring another long term back up plan into play to play both angels. I'd imagine Otto would have had just one more back up clone generator he kept secret from everybody from the last Spider-verse event he caused. Before he makes the deal, he would trigger the clone to awaken, and then carry on with the deal anyway. Returning himself to Doc Ock. But the Superior Spider-man is still on the table. having bested the devil to, in a way not lose the man he was trying to be, for the monster he originally was. And in essence solve the whole Clone Saga in Doc's own twist. The world gets the its Doc Ock back, but his clone lives on to continue his redemption.

1, that's not how buoyancy works.
2) "The inverse of the harmonic frequency to set off the reaction" I'm assuming they're using lasers to make this miniature Sun, but...
Harmonizing sound waves are two sound waves with frequencies that cancel each other out only at certain times when combined.
A basic example would be two constant tones, off frequency from each other in such a way that they start to sound like a single tone beating when played together. "A wobbly tone".
The inverse of the harmonic frequency would just be flipping that sound wave that you're adding. So sound is vibrations, just impacted molecules vibrating through the air, alternating between high and low pressure.
So in this context: "The inverse of the harmonic frequency" would mean that, where before, the harmonic frequency was 'low pressure-high-low-high' they're changing it to go 'hi-lo-hi-lo'.
With lasers it would be similar in that you've have pulses being created by an offset frequency. All they've really be doing is flipping the on-off timing of the pulses.
Presumably this would maybe have an effect on.... Polarity? After breaking down the words it's just magic🤩.

So we know a sound wave, yes? It has trough (low point of sound wave,) crest (high point of sound wave,) amplitude (distance of trough or crest from “silence”) wavelength, etc. Harmonic Frequency is the tone at which any thing resonates with a sound. Harmonic frequency typically causes the energy of the sound wave to be transferred to said object because if it’s optimal vibrational pattern aligning with that of the sound- like a singer holding a note to vibrate a glass til it shatters.
I imagine the inverse of a harmonic Frequency would be literally a negative frequency. Technically in real world these do not exist, but imagine the crest of a sound wave and the trough flip- a sound so “Not” it cancels out the harmonic frequency of a thing. It has the same wavelength as the wavelength of a harmonic frequency, but cancels out the energy inducing results of the vibration caused by the Harmonic Frequency.

I wonder what if instead of doing the most obvious thing, with the most obvious outcome, Estrella would instead ruin Spider-man's reputation: Give JJJ a one on one interview, talk to the news, inform everyone that she accidentally turned herself into a freak, and instead of helping her, Spider-man berated her and sealed her in metal coffin for all this time, and before that, treated her and others like supervillain minions. Then she goes away and becomes a celebrity, or hell even a hero in the background of Spiderman's stories, rarely showing up, but she's living her best life now, and though it isn't Peter's fault, he has to sort of deal with it.
Poor Peter. Editorial really won’t let our guy catch a break.

11:00 Harmonic RESONANCE is an old trick you've probably seen with tuning forks of identical pitch. Held apart(but still relatively close), if you tap one then the other will trigger as well - The INVERSE of this can be googled but goes waaaay beyond my understanding of acoustical physics

Doc Oc was always my favorite Spider-Man villain so when I found out what Superior Spider-Man was with the 2018 Superior Octopus #1 I was sold.
Just a bit of Trivia, but the original Tavern on the Green (as seen in Ghostbusters) folded some time ago. It's been taken over by an investment group that's remodeled it and reduced its overall footprint. I can't speak to any change in quality or service, but when you're hitting the sights in New York - just know that this one isn't as it used to be.

So the best way to explain Inverse of harmonic frequency is think of a guitar. Each string has a different sound and those stings vibrate base on speed and time. Base on the pitch the same string can make different sounds.

The thing I like about Superior in concept (not entirely in execution) is that I really like this evolution for the character. Otto’s thing has always been intelligence, and lacking the physical prowess. But what happens when Otto’s intelligence finesses his way into that physical prowess? You get Superior. It doesn’t work for every villain, but I do think it works for him.

Still unsure how good this run of Superior Spider-Man will be, but I can definitely recommend to anyone reading this, to read the Octopus Girl manga, its essentially Otto accidentally tranfers his mind to a Japanese high school girl and somehow the best written Spider-Man ongoing Spider-Man related thing right now. The author clearly understands the character and history of Otto Octavius and Spider-Man (for the short portion hes in this) and references a lot of things from Superior Spider-Man. (The author is the same author of Vigilantes a spin off of My Hero Academia that while i haven't reas, ive heard its better than My Hero Academia)

A harmonic frequency is the frequency at which an item / material naturally vibrates. If you've ever seen the old "opera singer breaking a glass with their voice" it's because they match their pitch to the glass's harmonic frequency, the vibrations keep building and it wobbles too much to stay intact.
INVERTING the harmonic frequency would, theoretically, deaden or outright negate that vibration. In this case, it's a bunch of technobabble, because it would either prevent the molecules from running wild OR it would completely negate and deaden the entire reaction.
