more historically accurate than the film , as mentioned at the end no one actually knows what happened to him after the final battle ,as his body was never found or adentified , buried by the small group of survivors who fled & escaped or if he simply perished on the battlefield to disfigured to recognise, historians have argued for decades over this debate , but I agree a great series , truly creative & great depiction of those times & the ppl
@@philliprayner8827 Even in the original, that still stands good, because when he crucified him in the original movie, he didn’t give him the Spartacus name he made him die without a name to not make him a martyr so either way it works either way, historically as accurate as it’s only a theory either way you would have found his body if the general didn’t give them my name and he did that on purpose. I thought the original one was a good ending to.
Always loved Crassus checking that he didn't get his throat slit at 1:18. Also Spartacus turning around to see the last of his army get wiped out and being completely unable to do anything about it at 5:21 was one of the saddest moments of the series to me.
Such an amazing finale to an EPIC story. It's so heartbreaking but it led to good things in that it gradually started the downfall of Rome (at least in part) as an oppressive empire. The spirit of Spartacus still LIVES on today in warding off slavery in all its forms.
Ser Libre El Final Del Portador💦De La Lluvia Solo Arkon Y Nasir Vivieron Felices Por Siempre Maldita Sea Son La Mejor Pareja De La Historia Me Gustó Mucho 😇😈🇲🇽📺
Crassus got lucky that even lasted that long fighting Spartacus. Spartacus just went through a battle. Ran up hill, fought off the guard. Got some battle damage along the way. So by the time he finally faces Crassus, Spartacus was at like 60% full strength lol. And still Crassus could barely match that.
Yeah but sad thing is, even if he killed Crassus, Spartacus' army was already overwhelmed at that point. But at the very least, he could've fallen back with the survivors and eventually regrouped/reformed in time.
@ true. The battle itself I think he knew they were going to lose. But they had to fight them off for as long as they could to let the others have enough time to get away right?
@@spartacusx9349 Yeah victory was largely secondary but if it happened nonetheless, it would've been like a miracle but still, they died legendary heroes.
First 47 seconds Im all in. This is one epic revenge scene. AAATTTTTAAAAAAAACCCKCCCKKKKKK!!!!!! Wait wtf is this why didn't he kill that guy. Sigh I guess realistic bs.
It was a series on Starz called Spartacus: War of the Damned. It was the 3rd and final season from Spartacus: Blood and Sand. There also was a prequel series called Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. I recommend them all. 👍👍

Agreed, even after Andy’s death

Rome will crumble. But your name will live on forever in the hearts of those who long for freedom.
Loved this show, especially with the original actor.
This show was absolutely incredible. It never got the popularity it deserved.

Right. He knew it was a likely possibility but still, heartbreaking.
If only Andy Whitfield did this scene, would of been 100x greater
true
Agreed but Liam McIntyre did a good job in the final season.
There’s no greater victory than to fall from this 🌎 a free man
To bad for liam mcintyre he never been biggest role movie after playing spartacus 😢
De las mejores escenas de acción de todos los tiempos

Другая была музыка когда Спартак схватил меч,это был не забываемый момент. Его взгляд...
What bad ending for Spartacus, but dying a free man was worth it.
It’s a shame we never got Andy to finish this series because of is tragic passing. He was a legend for sure
Finding out how Crassus died was very comforting
!

To think that crassus could fight Spartacus after he's been fighting for 5 yrs in the arenas and battlefields was kind of ludicrous
Well, Spartacus stamina was wearing off , and he got wounded by Crassus soldiers prio to their fight+ he won if nobody else intervened.
Keep in mind that Crassus was smart enough to buy a champion gladiator to train him for the fight.
He was probably already dying before he even started with Crassus. Spartacus at 100% cleans up Crassus with ease.
Yeah this version of Crassus was a quick study/learner. He's very intelligent but still was just never gonna quite catch up to Spartacus in skill.
POSTED TWO WEEKS AGO? Bless the gods -- I pray that I see more Spartacus related content appear on my TH-cam
Melhor série de todas !!
