Great advice to play through 50 or so games of your chosen opening. I would add that a database such as Chessbase, with it's ability to generate an opening repertoire tree from those games, will add considerably to what you can get out of them. Excellent move to produce this channel Ben - thanks!

Another good thing with chessable is that you can make your own repertoire book.

That was great.. one thing about The Pirc, The KID openings.. yes they are extremely sharp as double edged and really needs an experienced player, but I enjoy them very much.. so I think, instead of choosing something else, something typical, I choose to level my game up to these openings.

My favorite part about this channel is hearing story’s of people who started as adults. So many people say you’ll never be a good player if you start in your 20s 30s or 40s. Very cool to hear & see these guys show that’s a load of bs!

Eastern Europeans in my experience speak poor English compared to say Germans ,Swedes and the Dutch just to name a few examples. However he speaks excellent English. I wonder why that is?? Did he live in an English speaking nation or does he have an English speaking parent?? Very curious about that.
