Nice Video, just a small correction to your terminology. What you add on top of the motor was actually a AC Generator Coil. The silver box was a rectifier / regulator. It "rectifies" the AC from the generator coils into DC and then it regulates the DC voltage to charge the battery. Great Job Anyways! I would have dropped at least 1 part overboard.

I watch several sailing channels and one thing that always stands out to me, is the necessity of one or more occupants to make up a Jack/Jane of all trades aboard the boat (unless you are rich and can afford crew or tradesmen). There is always a need for the skills of a mechanic, an electrician, an engineer, a diver and a skilled navigator. Being able to take care of your boat while docked or at sea is essential. --Jessica from Florida 🌞

Absolutely being able to do as much as possible on your boat is a must if you are traveling on a budget 😜☺️

Loving your adventures and now a question. Some time ago I watched you do your deck with Kiwigrip. How is it putting up with day to day wear and tear? Are you satisfied? Ihave a ferro yacht, live on board and need to do my deck this year, thinking to use Kiwigrip. Some people seem happy then grizzle that it is hard to clean and chips. Do you find that? Cheers.

Cork is being used by some manufacturers .... its particularly friendly on metal hulls for feet and metal.
