Thanks for this video! I’m having to get another 5 series and the one I looked at today has a broken ashtray and the 12v socket housing is also broken. I should be able to sort both out with your video. Appreciate it a lot
Nice video. if the center console one of the cup holder tab breaks, do i need to replace the cup holder or can i buy used replacement and replace broken tab? please help
hey vineet i had to replace the cup holder tray entirely when mine broke a while ago, the replacement are pretty cheap from ebay or alibaba, hope this helps

Can you make a video on Armrest removal please. The leather cover of both Armrests of my F10 was removed and i want to stick them back, but unable to open them.. Thanks in advance 😊
OMG bro! I love you, thank you so much, can you show us how to retro fit the idrive controller (the big knob one) and also the gear selector - changing it to Msport style.
ash tray has an ambient light, those black and red wires are then met with a black coloured connector near the parking brake button, there is a small hole in the connector press it with a pick and remove the connector, if you want i can send you pictures, just dm me on instagram @thatbeamerguy, hope this helps

Also did you disconnect the battery cable ? was there any warning lights and you powered the car?
yes! as long as you connect all the connectors you won't have any warning lights

My armrest is fine so I don’t want to mess uo but it is pretty simple the leather part is screwed
