Can we use a gate plugin(flip) also for the number 3 trick ?, so that when those melodic instruments comes in , the level of the drum elements get reduced.
You didn’t get the catch, when you use a noise gate, the output is reversed hence it’ll activate the drum elements when the melody kicks in and when the melody stops, drums will also stop.
How to create sine wave? Also if the kick already contains sub frequencies then why should we remove those sub frequencies from the sample itself and add artificial sub from sine wave?
1) Use any Oscillator plug-in 2) Why would you replace the sub when you like what’s already there. It’s used when you’re not satisfied with the tone and want to add a bit of oomph!

i mostly use sidechaining on my bass to make room for the kick, by using a free plugin called STFU
