I think he delete (remove) the extra edgeloops created by the bridge tool

Javier Zuccarino Yup think you're right, possibly using the shortcut Alt+R (or Alt+L) to select them after selecting the first one

icchansan, I selected the edge ring (Alt+R) and then Collapse function, which I added a personal shortcut.
