Mos Def's hardest sh*t is Rawkus Records' Lyricist Lounge vol 2 songs, BlackStar first album and this debut album Black On Both Sides. Basically all his Rawkus Records material. Esp the songs "Oh No" with Pharaohe Monch & Nate Dogg which is insane, "Re:Definition", "Know That", "Speed Law", "New World Water", this song and "Mathematics", the car ride with Dave Chappelle on Chappelle's Show, the BlackStar performance on the first episode of Chappelle's Show, and the BlackStar performance reunion on Dave Chappelle's Block Party movie. As well as the BET Cypher with Mos Def, Black Thought and Eminem. Insane bars and flow. Can't speak on the second BlackStar album No Fear of Time as they released it exclusively on a radio station app called Luminary so alot of people wasn't able to hear it unfortunately.

Yeah Mos Def is tough frfr… I believe the second beat might have been off of a Smif n Wessun album or I could be wrong though, sounds very similar (they’re from BK), and that last beat was a Biggie beat of course (another BK head).
