Listen as an Afrikaans guy watching this podcast trying to better understand how black South Africans think and feel about stuff, some of the guests clearly have no intention to build or mend bridges - they've got revenge in their eyes and in their words. It's futile to try and work with people who hate you based on what previous generations did. I've got no patience with idealogues and revolutionary nationalists, whether it be EFF of VF+ - neither are presenting a future where the country survives. I'm not sure the DA has what it takes to beat the ANC either.
Now this guy seems like he's got something new. Just tell the damn truth, shouldn't be a wild position but in a country with as much corruption as ours, guess it is. I wish he came along 10 years ago. Not sure our country has enough time left for ARISE to grow - we need many more like him, in every party. We can't wait for one party to "save us", we need to get to a point where every major party had guys like this so that even if your preferred party doesn't win, there are people who tell the truth and help solve problems available.
Get the thugs out of politics, I can definitely agree with him on that.

    • @mlungisimthembu8335
      @mlungisimthembu8335 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

There are plenty of guys like this in black communities but they are squeezed out and othered in spaces they can contribute or solve problems in those black spaces. They are not cool in a “black” way. Most of them leave the communities and settle elsewhere and mind themselves. An average black SAn is not interested in things spoken about in this podcast.
There has been a cycle of poor collective male figures or leaders in black communities in general that can channel positive energy from black people to constructive use.
He will be lucky to get 1% of votes. Very few black folk digest this kind of message let alone give it an ear.

Until land is returned to the people we will forever have racial notes of politics, we must stand for what is just and true

I AM AN ANGRY BLACK YOUTH, who is till affected by the legacy of apartheid. Revenge is what we want and revenge we will get be it by law or by revolution. But its coming. We will not rest untill what is our is returned, you boers did the worse to us and soon enough the wrath of the children of the parents you build your wealth on the back off, will pour on you. Soon my friend. Turn other cheek was for Mandela. Not us. This is our ancestral land remember that. One day your third treck will be out of this country. Be lee that Boer man 😠 😡

@@neokhanya295 I’ll take that. But l will also say in that same breath… the desire is very much there.
However, in our case we do not have a Mpho who has been within the inner circle (but has proper Christian principles… and his own money) to not be swayed enough to come back to the people and tell us exactly how to navigate our complexities.
Look at how Nelson had to resort to “strategic ambiguity”…and even that is failing.
Unlike SA (blessed are you), here thee party controls everything (the army, the courts, the “press”). Heck they can even switch off the internet if they feel the urge.

What Dagada explains in the beginning of this interview is absolutely spot on. KZN ( my home province ) is a mafia zone with an abundant supply of gunmen who are killing machines.
A lot of these cold blooded boys are based in Gauteng hostels in the Joburg area. I can assure you they arent paid R10k for hits. It goes up to R300k. It's a tragic state of affairs. What's even more frightening is that killers are becoming younger. Youngsters born in the 90s are hard core killers.
I wish people took these things serious. It's no joke. South Africa is currently a warzone.
Our country can be rescued through leaders with integrity.

Mpho, Pen, on the spot. I am an engineer with extensive experience in power generation. I worked at both power stations in Tshwane. Both stations can still be used, the lack of will by this morons who knows nothing yet taking crucial decisions. We are going down as a people and country, our future is stolen today😢

What do we need to do to get young people, aged 18 to 30, to get involved in politics?
To join community groups & help fix roads, resolve electricity issues, fight for local businesses & vote on matters that affect their schools, churches and other spaces that impact them?

Wow Penuel. This was what I have been waiting for. To summarise, Mpho is saying, it is all in our hands. Lets stand together as a progressive collective, make moves, make people accountable and we will slowly see change. I am always pissed at myself for asking “What are we doing about the crap happening in our country? What have I done or contributed to that will bring about change in this country,” and doing nothing at the end. We need to stand with people like Mpho and fix this country a brick at a time. We can do it 👏🏾👏🏾

Mpho Dagada calls a spade a spade and his claim about the government corroborate what Julius Malema has always highlighted regarding government. Malema's interview at Metro FM last month comply exactly with what Mpho is saying.
What an intelligent guy he's. Wow. I feel inspired already
Thank you Penuel for hosting him
