My favorite water ride, and one of my favorite all time rides. The theming is just so spot on, even if it's super outdated. The outside of the ride legit looks like a cartoon, and that final drop is so so good.
If Universal could expand the Toon Lagoon area, perhaps a new attraction to replace the abandoned Cartoon Circus amphitheater. I was thinking a CupHead ride could work since it’s owned by the company that created Popeye. Or perhaps a Calvin & Hobbes dark ride.
This is one area of the park I really hope doesn’t get a retheme. It’s such a lighthearted and fun land with iconic music that makes everything feel pretty whimsical compared to all the other lands at the park and even compared to some of the lands at Disney.
Imagine if they made it into Land Before Time Flume Adventure as noted in the Universal Studios Fandom Website. Kinda keeping the Dino theme from the Jurassic Area which is near Toon Lagoon where this ride is located mixing both the Dino and Toons together.
@@themeparklore Ahhh that's awesome thanks. watched more of your content today on the treadmil keep it up and let me know if you ever need a voice/opinion or whatever for your vids
I love this ride! I remember my sister sat in the front and she got completely soaked. Like we knew the ride would be wet , but not to that level. She was so mad! Now i troll her about this ride😂😂😂 Great memories and video!
All the rides in Toon Lagoon need to be replaced. The whole place is outdated and hardly anyone who isn’t a boomer knows who characters like Dudley Do-Right are anyway. To start they could theme the water ride around SpongeBob instead for example.
I have to agree on everything except Popeye. I think Popeye is known enough and is such a perfect theme fit for that great raft ride. Toon Lagoon could use updating otherwise.
Appreciate that you credited my recordings in the video but I request that you also link back to my videos somewhere (description, cards, comments). Also, a few inaccuracies: 5:09 - The Great Northwestern Sawmill name seems to have sprung up from nowhere, even in early Goddard Group plans its referred to as "Ripsaw Falls" 5:20 - The dual-drop on the current ride is not a holdover from the splitting log concept. A version of the ride was developed between the original Goddard Group splitting log concept and the single log concept that featured many of the ride's current scenes, a two-across log, and no dual-drop. The current setup is purely a device to boost capacity and can be seen on several other flumes across the world (Riptide at Six Flags Great Adventure, Coal Cracker at Hershey Park etc.) 6:27 - The queue video uses animation from the original Dudley Do-Right cartoons, the only original material are brief still graphics and title cards 6:55 - Bear and Beaver are meant to be creating the special effects for the projector video, not the music. 6:57 - Not a shadow, a silhouette, as though they've cartoonishly burst through the door. 9:55 - Fire broke out within the show building, not behind
What attraction should we cover next?
you should really do the mummy or popeyes
Later you have to rank all of the rides at universal and islands
Rip ride rockit
Splash Mountain🐰🐻🦊
Backlot Tour.
It's a great ride that fills its purpose extremely well. I hope they just continue to maintain it as it has a lot to offer on its own merits.
I normally hate water rides because of how wet you get. But it’s worth getting wet to ride Ripsaw falls
Same here. I absolutely can’t stand getting wet but ripsaw falls is the only water ride I will go on.
I got absolutely DESTROYED on this ride back in 2021. It’s so damn wet and so worth it at the same time.
Great content 🙌
Thank you!
Funny story. When I was getting on a couple ahead was sent back because they didn’t have shoes.
someone needs to bring justice to the theme park world…
Ripsaw falls and Popeyes is my favorite 2 hit combo in the industry.
I usually go on Jurassic Park first, then Dudley, then Popeye for the water trifecta and it's about as much fun as I've ever had at a theme park!
@@TapCat The best!
The Treble @@TapCat
I just rode this last week! Loved it!
This and popeye’s are easily the best water rides in orlando, right next to eachother
My favorite ride at universal 😢
Good Video
Thanks!
Your videos are very enjoyable 😊

Out of all of universal’s water rides, Ripsaw Falls is probably my favorite one.
A Mountie always gets his man, but not always his girl. Literally burned into my brain
The final drop is so good
Ripsaw falls and River adventure have the most intense drops on a water ride imo.
@@DonyourmomI don’t think it’s intense, I think it’s iconic
Splash Mountain is the most intense @@Donyourmom

Really awesome content. This is one of my favorite rides at Universal Studios: Islands of Adventure. A big part of my childhood

Ripsaw Falls and popeye right after is you buying new clothes fr
100% you couldn't get more wet if you jumped into a swimming pool.
Imagine Universal makes a big misake by changing this ride to The Lorax Adventure
Imagine if they made it into Land Before Time Flume Adventure as noted in the Universal Studios Fandom Website. Kinda keeping the Dino theme from the Jurassic Area which is near Toon Lagoon where this ride is located mixing both the Dino and Toons together.
I went on ripsaw falls
We didn’t ask
There was fire
💀
Unceirsal theme park
Bro, you spell universal wrong
Wow me and my family went that summer and rode the ride. I had no clue it caught on fire earlier that same year
As a Disneyfan I am agree Ripsawfalls is much more fun and intense!
My brother, and I love Rocky and Bullwinkle
This was a great video, didn't know the history behind this. Excellent job
Thanks! Love your channel!

Long Live Toon Lagoon! 😍😃😊
Retheme to SpongeBob & we lit
SpongeBob would make much better sense at universal, islands already has enough. Universal is lacking
Keep Toon Lagoon forever please! 😭
Please don't edit out your breaths and natural pauses. I'm 2 minutes in and I'm exhausted. It's non-stop talking.
This is my favorite ride at the park
Splash Mountain next?👀
I once went on this and ended up sitting in urine
It's the perfect summer time ride
Love this thing

How dare you! 😡 keep Toon Lagoon forever, screw modern IPs!
