Dear David, I do so much appreciate your clarity to express WHAT IS so simple on its own side but so unexplainable for the material realm. It resonates as clearly as it is here, even though there oceans of physical distance between your "formation" and this one. Gratitude and blessings from

This teaching is exactly dead on. Awareness of the mind and its processes is a constant job that requires tremendous presence and effort.
Hearing someone speak this reality is heartening to hear.
Figuring out how to correctly pilot the experience has been a long road walked alone, in total silence. The hardest part has been having no one to share the inner journey with.
To my wife's perspective, the personality has improved, when in reality my Self is actually simply emerging.
Compounding the issue of wishing to share the inner journey with her is the fact that we are native speakers of two languages. Myself English, my wife Russian.
She's completely in the personality and body identification mode of Being.
To make inroads, I relate how I'm observing the mental processes and often share with her my perspective that it's all smoke and bullshit.
This acquaints her subtly with the concept that we are not the thoughts. It's a subtle seed in planting in her. Feminine ego is hyper misidentified with the body, which takes phenomenal effort to navigate correctly.
The absence of the language barrier would make that aspect easier to expose her to her true nature; her true self.
So in essence I'm working 4 full time jobs simultaneously.
My inner awareness and Being, acting as a subtle teacher to my wife, operating in and navigating the waters of the stream of unconscious minds in my daily interactions, and then my actual job of being a flatbed truck driver who's away from home weeks at a time.
In short, these talks, for me, offer huge comfort.
It's nice to see my exact processes articulated so succinctly. It's always a joy to listen to. Thank you David

I definitely feel like I know when I’m being used as a channel. Where it’s absolutely obvious either in the moment or in review, especially when it’s being written out as a text or email.
Ive had a few very clear “there’s no doer here doing anything” moments.
    They were very comforting really.
    Idk. Great talk.
    Love the end:
“Then you’ll think yourself stupid and crazy. “
Facts. I don’t think I’m stupid but I feel functionally insane.
It’s quite unpleasant, in fact I hate it. Non stop anxiety and horrendous depressions.

I was 24 years old when I realised this. Later that year I had my first experience of nonduality, that one lasted maybe twenty seconds and really changed everything.

There is only one free will and that belongs to All That Is - but this free will is not predetermined but evolves for the benefit of All That Is? In Tom Campbell's terminology, LCS evolves to lower it's own entropy . Brilliant video, thanks and on the same page as Tom Campbell, Rupert Spira, Bernardo Kastrup, Ben Davies........Many paths to the one Truth that is ever evolving..

I usually enjoy your lessons, but this one was hard to swallow & a little too hippy-trippy for me to accept as Truth. Easy to accept in a kumbaya atmosphere in a classroom, quite the opposite in the real world.
If people are taught that there's no free will & everything just happens to & through them with no control, then you have the makings of no civilized society. Billions of people walking around with the belief that "What I'm doing is coming from God & not me" is a recipe for atrocities, injustices & a completely failed society.
Every day i have thoughts that, if acted upon, would be very detrimental for me: legally & morally. We grow as beings when we control our impulses, urges & recognize that we have a duty not to harm any other sentient being; not pass off our behaviors as inevitable, unfortunate happenings "because God was manifesting through me to hurt another person". It's what separates us from animals & allows us to experience higher consciousness.
    Dangerous philosophy, David.

Is it not actually there is no free will, because there is actually a doer, it’s just that there is no separate doer than life (consciousness), and you actually are life so it goes full circle to being the doer / one making choices no?

  • @wthomas5697
    @wthomas5697 26 วันที่ผ่านมา

Hunh? You can recognize your individuality and also see that everything is just happening to you. It is extremely easy to notice the fact that thinking occurs as a result of subconscious processing, which eliminates anything along the lines of free will.
People behave morally because it is in their best interest. Behaving otherwise is against our nature and we suffer accordingly. There's a reason why a person like trump lives in perpetual anxiety. He's always threatened by the likes of himself.
Everything is the result of cause and effect but fundamentally it is not "predetermined". It appears as such at the level of human existence, but quantum mechanics says life is probable.

The bs required to believe that is off the charts. You're either responsible for your actions or you're not. You can't say it doesn't exist and that you're still responsible. It's one or the other, not both. It's not even true. I make decisions all the time good and bad. No one else made them.

@@JewessChrstnMystic we experience our lives in our bodies with a personality that has a free will, but the self is an illusion.
That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t strive to the best we can, and to do the right thing. But at the end of it all, we are not our thoughts, we are the awareness behind them. We want control, but we have to let go to enjoy the ride.
Hope this clarifies what I meant.

dude....we are extreme opposite to God...we are NOT god...god becomes man in us, not the other way around. we are a will to receive for ourselves and God is a will to bestow.... our root nature is evil..complete reception for ones self.... we all have a potential to grow into a will to receive IN ORDER to bestow. we all have the potential to reach equivalence of form with God. we are born into an evil intention behind why we receive. we are also blind of the Giver. we must go through correction degree by degree, climbing back up jacobs ladder. it's only after we reveal our nature and hit the root of our soul that we see and experience how completely opposite to God we really are, by this oppositeness we can know him. what he isn't points to everything he is, which is opposite of corporeality and ego and egos calculations. what's within you is depicted outside of you to show you your oppositeness, spirituality is everything that corporeality is not...spirit is opposite to matter.
