The Ferry Boat is about 5 minutes drive from me. Is it the oldest? Probably the oldest building still used as a pub, but was it continous? For example, if I stuck a bar in the middle of Avebury, would that make it the oldest? Also, I know the Fighting Cocks well, and just a few hundred yards from there is the Six Bells. Now that was built on the site of a Roman Inn, some of which is incorporated in the current building, does that make it the oldest?
