I remember him coming into Box Lunch often when I worked at West Town Mall here in Knoxville a few years ago. He would leave with bags stuffed full of Pops. & they can be fairly expensive even with the sales. He was definitely 1 costumer that stuck out to me. Very interesting to see his home full of them. Because now it all makes sense. 😄
What makes a collection interesting, is hearing a story behind a particular item. Or you can sense the individual's passion for their collection. Not just someone who collects just to collect. And they barely know anything about a character or show they are trying to share.
That's true, but you know what else makes a collection interesting? Literally holding the world record for having the most of something, and having them all on display for everyone to see. Most people genuinely interested could spend an hour checking this collection out without the guy saying a word
Dude! That Jason Pop is fire! I love the way you are just continuing to change shirts every pop change; SWEET! I have a nice collection but aspire to have one as extensive as yours. Keep up the good work, brother.
I sold quite a few funko pops to David when I worked at Gamestop here in Knoxville! I still see him shopping for them even when I don't work there anymore, and it's exciting to see him fighting for that record!
@@peepee.poopoo my point is it costs them next to nothing to get them and it would kinda make sense for the company to posses one of each limited edition Funko in a collection somewhere. Plus obviously all the most popular ones

For the record Dave is NOT the owner of Tall Man Toys and Comics, he works at UPS and works hard for a living and deserves this record! Love the shirt changes!

It’s honestly one of my actual dreams to own every single breaking bad POP and you are literally living that dream 😭😭😭 the rareness of them are out of this world
I bet that guy who kept asking and petitioning for his own Funko Pop, because he was the record holder at the time, is crying his eyes out right now. Haha
7,095 pops?! That's insane!! Hats off to that guy for being the record holder for most Funko Pops collected. All I can think to myself after seeing that big of a number is if he was to sell all those in a couple years, or if anyone in his family sold any of those Pops in a few years I'm sure at somr point they'd be even more than they're worth now!
Its actually pretty interesting seeing what the prices on some of his grails are doing now. He expresses that White Lady is his most expensive pop according to PPG but these days its like 120usd and his Jax teller is 400+. Bloody Jesse 800+. Must be some insane value in there if its all ppgd
I literally just watched the old video from the previous record-holder wondering when someone would beat the record. 😅 Wow, 7,095 pops is a crazy collection!
Wow, amazing collection. Definitely jealous of some of those, and i could never afford to get them now. I've got nearly a thousand funko items (pops, mystery minis, rock candys etc)
Wow! I can’t believe that this guy broke the world record for the biggest Funko POP collection! I have at least 50 items in my Funko collection, most of which includes POPs.
A friend of mine sent me this video and said "J, you're almost there" and I said "yes, only 6,415 to go....." Never ever ever. LMAO I have a decent sized collection but its limited to my basement and a baseball bat case with THE OFFICE cast above my tv. They can not take over the house. That's nuts. Lol
I think my relationship to pops describes why they are so big. I hate pops. But every now and then I see a favorite character and I think about buying it.
Just letting everyone know, Dave does not own a toy store. I am friends with Dave and have worked with him at UPS for 28 years. I have been to his house and the collection is legit.
My 2 most valuable Pops are Glow in the dark Skeletor and a glow in the dark Doc from BTTF, I think we only have about 320 pops in total and I feel I don't have enough room for all of them I couldn't even imagine with what to do with how many you have though. And your collection is awesome by the way.
2 of my hi valued grails R yummy mummy n Marvin the Martian. LOL, I have all of them including him with his rocket ship. I have sentimental pops that are worth more to me personally also. Keep on popping! Good luck building your collection🚀
