- Lambs Jumping, spring is in the air! Jumping lambs. There is something about lambs jumping that allows our heart to spring. Maybe it is because Jesus is the Lamb of God? It is also very cute and heart-warming. The young lambs love to play… and sleep! Actually, sleep, graze the lush green grass and play. Lambs jumping we don’t see everyday here, so was glad to be able to get a video of that.

What a relaxing video full of beautiful animals. The little lambs bouncing around are both adorable and hilarious, and the sounds from the adults cracked me up as well. The horses are gorgeous! And I loved how you could hear the relaxing hooting of the owls and the chirping of the birds in the background. I could fall asleep there with them so easily and so happily. Every newyears I play this video to my family as they always make a fuss out of me refusing to eat Lamb. I eat meat but morally can't eat babies.

I noticed it looks like none of the tails are docked. Do you find this practice is unnecessary or you use a different breed that doesn't have the fly strike issue?
I’m not too sure. That’s too technical for me! Hopefully a Dutch farmer will know the answer!
Lol, sorry. Tail docking is, I believe, a terrible practice where sheep have most of their tail removed around a week after birth. The reason is because, I was told, humans have bred sheep to have so much wool that they cannot lift their tail when they poop because of the weight of the wool. So, poop gets stuck on their tail and attracts flies to their tail/bottom which will lay eggs, and maggots will begin eating the sheeps flesh. Before long, the sheep can die because of maggots basically eating it. So removing most of the tail avoids this problem. It's terrible, I see you're a fellow believer. Its just another reminder this world is not our home. Are these your sheep? Do you bathe them and/or know the breed?
@@New_Heaven_And_A_New_Earth I never knew. With a bit of research, it appears they do a lot of this in Europe and The Netherlands. Indeed, just another reminder! (A lot of those lately, but did not expect one with the lambs!) No, these are not my sheep. I just live really close to them. Good question. It is a working farm. Milk cows. But the farmer is retired. He helps other farmers in the area with sheep 🐑 and cows 🐄 each year. Kind of neat for we, residents close by here, get to see them come and go each year.
