    I am at the beginning of my "investment journey", planning to put 85K into dividend stocks so that I will be making up to 30% per year in dividend returns. Any advice?

      Investing without proper guidance can lead to mistakes and losses. I've learned this from my own experience.If you're new to investing or don't have much time, it's best to get advice from an expert.

      The issue is people have the "I want to do it myself mentality" but not equipped enough for a crash, hence get burnt. Ideally, advisors are reps for investing jobs, and at first-hand encounter, my portfolio has yielded over 300% since 2020 just after the pandemic to date.

    This is financial advice and I never give financial advice: DONT LEAVE DURING THE BEAR. If you don’t want to invest…learn. If you don’t want to learn…build. If you don’t want to build observe. DO SOMETHING…other than leave. There is so much opportunity here. Take advantage!

      Just because there are opportunities in the market doesn’t mean you should go in blindly. To understand the potential factors that contribute to your financial growth, I'll advise you to seek the help of a professional.

      Very true, I started investing before the pandemic and that same year I pulled a profit of about $750k with no prior investing experience, basically all I was doing was seeking guidance from 'BRIDGET MARY TUROW" who's a guru in the game, you can be passively involved with the aid of a professional.

    nice video, the only video that is easy to understand on how to backtest a simple EMA crossover strategy. What should I put in the close strategy if i want to close it at a certain pip level?

    • @kevin.licenji
      @kevin.licenji ปีที่แล้ว +2

      you should use "profit" in the "strategy.exit" string. Setting 50 for example means 50 ticks. Pay attention because usually pairs have 5 decimals, so 50 means only 5 pips

    On your Performance Summary page, you can see that your net profit was just under eleven percent, whereas the buy and hold return was 64 percent. That means this trading strategy made you 10 800 on your initial investment of 100 000, but if you had just bought at your first buy-signal and held to the end of your last trade, you would have made 64 000. So, effectively, by trading, you lost out on 55 000 dollars.
