Beautiful assortment of tea cups and I love how you showed different ways of displaying them. ❤ The blooming tea is so pretty and love the peacock detail on that gold tea cup stand. 🦚 The sugar bowl with the swans is so elegant and I can only imagine how the whole tea set would’ve looked like. 🦢😍 Wonderful video Katherine! I enjoyed it very much 😊💕💕💕
Aww, just lovely. I do love the dragon ware cups & I think that the footed cups are always special too. You have given me a reason to open my box of my favorite teacups & saucers & play.
Hi Katherine. Oh what beautiful teacups and saucers you have. I love teacups. The way you had them stacked on top of each other was so lovely. On the shelves was pretty too. I really really enjoyed this video. I could look at teacups saucers and teapots for hours. The fortune telling cup was so unique. I loved it. Thank you ever so much for showing us all these gorgeous items and showing us how to display them. I really appreciate it. Take care.
You have some gorgeous tea cups...drooling over here! Really liked how you reviewed the different styles of stands that are available out there to find...the antique ones are fab, plus your styling ideas were on point....loved putting the photograph in the cup❤
Fantastic ideas! I am turning my dining room into my own personal tearoom and will incorporate many of your ideas. My favorites were the use of ephemera and the gift ideas. They will come in handy this Christmas. Thank you so much for sharing!
So many great ideas! Very interesting. I love the secret teacups, always a fun surprise. Thank you for this great video, it was much more than your title said.
I had so much fun watching this. Thank you. I love Hall teapots. The Aladdin ones are so cool. Somewhere in storage I have a book about Hall and the variety is amazing. I love the black, white, and gold trimmed tea cup, the moon teapot, and your Art Nouveau creamer and sugar. All of it stunning.
My favorite styling idea is the three stack. Love the cup present with tea tin or pouch wrapped in a scarf or tulle. Fun video lesrnedca lot. Tfs as always katherine. ❤😊
Really enjoyed this video. You have some lovely pieces. Loved the idea of displaying old photos or cabinet cards in the cup. Would to find more vintage tea cups out thrifting and definitely a vintage cup and saucer stand.
Oh I loved this video! I have a few tea cups but you got me hooked. I’ll definitely be collecting more of them. Love all of the ideas for decorating with them!
@@KatherineYoung I'm currently playing with 24 teacups.... Mine not included... 24 superfluous tea cups... All thrift finds..... And.... Sets of gorgeous thrifted plates.... Trying to organize furnishings for 3 tiny homes.... Names to be determined... One "country/floral/Farmhouse" with the inspiration piece a matte black vase with handpainted muted red/yellow/orange, with dark green foliage.... Inspired a beautiful collection of dishes and decorations for the tiny home including a FULL SIZED CHICKEN... fondly nicknamed Benny... And a few other of his feathered friends... Spent a few days humming and hawing over the collection which slowly formed a piece at a time through Thrifting, and is now all one set, ready to go for 1 tiny house..... Next set "nanas teahouse... Cottage core with strong emphasis on tea items and fine bone China dishes... Colour themes of pale pink/pale green/white... Going to a tiny house community with many seniors... Hoping to create a gathering place where neighbours can come together, and a spot to host their friends and family... As their own tiny homes are often too small for guests/hosting...... And the 3rd set was a mystery until the word cottage came to mind.. And asked a friend what came to mind... She mentioned a colour scheme of pale yellow/greens/and white... Which I suggested tempered with wood and barnwood, and presto the 3rd set was birthed out of the haul of China I have been collecting through thrift the past 4 years..... So when I found your video I was stumped on what the wall would look like in the kitchen to display the pieces.... I had imagined a curio cabinet style, or the Farmhouse style of displaying white ceramics... But that is just not functional.... The tiny house guests can't select, pull and use the China if its too dolled up.... And when I googled how to display teacups and fine bone China, all of the leads showed gross repetitions of circular presentation due to the saucers.... Then... I found you!!!!!! I was so excited to see somebody geek out on fine bone China.... KINDRED SPIRIT.... I wish you could thrift with me here... But I'm in Canada.... And I guess you are down south? Your accent drew me in too :) I'm a fan of the southern accent... I have a huge soft spot for Randy and Amanda at Incredible Tiny Homes... In Newport Tennessee... That's where our tiny homes will be... God willing.... Fingers and toes are all crossed, still organizing and praying as things slowly come together.... All things well, you will see our rentals someday :) I wish you weren't so far away my kindred spirit... And your laugh lit up my heart when you were chatting about your pieces... Love your passion for your collection... And FYI, if you ever connect with Amanda, she's a fan of Halloween too... I saw you have lots of videos with Halloween theme... She might also be kindred to you too :) hope you are well, and thank you a tonne for your great video that got my creativity re-sparked when I got stumped... You're a star... Xoxo Leslie from Vancouver BC... If you ever get this far, drop me a line, I'll tell you where to thrift here :)
I really enjoyed this video Katherine..The cat and fairy in the tea cup are precious. I gave away all my tea cup collection and have two left, I definitely will try to display them with a cat and fairy. By the way, I did a little ghost painting on a vintage painting I forgot I had. Not as pretty as yours but happy with it. Thanks so much for your ideas.

Depending on your area, you might want to look into auctions. I've attended them where they were literally giving away antique brass teacup stands.
Thanks for the tip! 😊
❤One of the best videos I’ve ever seen, and with you and friends live, too! Thank you, Katherine! Reversing teacup and displaying figurine is fun! ☕️
So glad!
