I think many can relate that we searched for this since we first have seen first nokia smartphones and playstation one aesthetics, in early 2000s, and been looking since for this wholesome-chill-on the verge of something fast, swirling, streaming, exciting to start happening. And suddenly this aesthetic starts reappearing in our lives, by the miracle of algorithm, but it only chooses 1 percent (who had a hunch to stumble upon it first)
I am doing that right now while preparing some classes, I love this music, it soothes me and makes me really nostalgic, I wish I had found this before, I love electronic music :D

I was 7 in Y2k, Had the best childhood in the field playing with my dad, football, going hunting and fishing and spending my time on PS1 playing crash bandicoot, Spyro, Final Fantasy 7-8-9, all cherished memories. Now I'm 31... I miss him, I miss that time, I miss the nostalgia, and visualising all these memories listening to this playlist really gives me comfort, and all the nice likeminded people in the comments.

I grew up in the 90's going to raves, video games inbetween Thursday import drops at the local record store, skating, and dial-up internet. I never stopped listening to drum and bass. We used to thrive on the new sound back then but I couldn't be happier to see today's underground yute circling back and adding to the sound and the vibes I grew up to. 💪

Truly one to remember. So fitting to the fleeing moments before we all eventually crash, in our own way, as we approach the understanding of our situation, and as the crash proceeds, we find acceptance and a glimmer of hope before we pick up speed once more.

The future of technology still seemed so bright, freeing us instead of enslaving us. The music reminds me of playing PS2 games with my brother during Christmas.

There's still mainstream music that the majority of people listens too/aware of, like Taylor Swift, but most of modern superstars are in their 40s and made their careers way before socials were a huge thing. We're gonna be seeing a decline of big names, given the social media structure won't become more centralised (like extreme censorship).

I'll start - FF9 was my first finalfantasy game I completed and going through my childhood this distracted me in such a good way and taught me alot of life lessons that school couldn't that I carried on with my life and I've held myself high and accountable :) proud of that.. proud of FF 😅 what are your most cherished games with values to you?
