How do you prevent volleyballs from flying over that very low glass fence, rolling down the hill and smashing into someone's window? Seems that there should be a large net that can be raised when you want to play volleyball.

That's exactly what I thought when i first got there. But maybe its more for show than use. Or, as you said, they would have to put a net of some sort if they really want to use it.

This house is exquisite, however, governmental theft, aka property taxes, on it is going to be astronomical, plus the salary of a cleaning crew needed to maintain it, make this house, as well as other such big houses, a money pit

nice video but not worth anywhere near 72.5 million. No curb appeal, boring design, no real usable land. Dont understand LA prices. Makes no sence why someone would pay that much for this house.

Because of the 3 rules of real estate: location, location, location. You want to live in LA? In the hills? With a view? With that massive square footage? It's going to cost you. Curb appeal is a joke of a consideration when that's your view out the window. People don't look at their own house from the street enough for that to matter that much. It's expensive to build on the side of a hill. You're going to have to pay for the privilege.

@@alicedanger You really think that home is worth 72.5 million? Not a penny less?

@@MikeinWB A real estate professional does, so what I (not a real estate professional ) thinks is an uneducated guess at best. What you don't have to be a professional of anything to know is that land is scarce in LA. In all of Southern California. There are undeveloped plots of land in that area that cost $100 million. This one includes a whole house for less. Scott Edwards' channel (a real estate professional) has a lot of great videos on land buying in LA. He can teach you something...

@@alicedanger well i still think its over priced, Its just in hollywood hills, not bel air or beverly hills. There are lots of bad areas in Hollywood.

@@MikeinWB This house is in the Bird Streets. It's one of the most exclusive, most expensive areas. It has homes on par with, and more expensive than Bel-Air and Beverly Hills. The most expensive home in all of LA was in this area - not BA, or BH.
The areas where homes are selling for $72 million are not the bad areas. That's why it costs so much to live there... away from the bad areas.
