- Oh my, this video is one for the books! Ryan is showing me around Miami, and we end up at a incredibly clear pond! There is only ONE fish in this pond that we want to catch...and it is an incredible MONSTER!

Fun fact: pacu in the wild eat mostly nuts and fruits that fall off the trees. Hence why their teeth are shaped like molars instead of razors like their cousin the piranha. When they dont have any fruit or nuts to eat they will divert and eat other fish and probably crustaceans like crayfish and stuff

was releasing it really the right thing to do? It's a non native fish that has the potential to do serious damage to the ecosystem. You could have eaten it with a clean conscience.

Lol the recliner in the water lol..nice catch man! The lake I went to yesterday was almost as clear as that lake! I didn’t catch anything to write home about just a couple of 3lbs bass. Just happy I didn’t drive for two hrs to get skunked!

I'm in north Texas near the Oklahoma state line and no one has ever seen one around here
Lake Ray Hubbard has red bellys.
Lake Granbury also. I have never caught one ,but evidently they are in there. Check out the water body records..
The Pacu are an Invasive Species in the US. I thought they had to be disposed of. Sure is an interesting fish.....lol Those teeth! Amazing catch!

Ty! What's going on man! That was an awesome forty pound black pacu! About 10 years ago my cousin had a pacu as a pet and it had reached about 10 lb in a 70 gallon tank. Great episode man I loved it keep on getting down!

@@TyPigPatrol was a hectic moment, couldn't pull it ,so I tried breaking twigs to free it, but my line broke. The fish was still in the same spot , not moving, got a stick ,got him wiggled free. Spooled up with 6lb tonight going out in the morning

Caught 2 different pacus in Pinellas County before. They fight like Jack crevalle of freshwater. That pond was full of strange fish, jaguar guapote, white Oscar and normal color one too, white catfish, 2 pacus that I know of so far and weird silver shovel like nose with black spot catfish in it too. Only thing for freshwater in Florida i hasnt caught yet is clown knife and redtail cat
those clowns and redtail would be insane to catch in florida!

There's an old flooded Quarry in Whiteford, MD. Last time I was up there there was a refrigerator floating in it and a fish as big as the fridge swimming next to it. I don't know how deep it is but I've heard stories from a former friend who scuba dives up there that there are cranes and tractors in some parts of the quarry. His company scuba truck was an old Chevy van he salvaged out of the quarry.
Looks like the back side of the old King's Bay Golf Course/Driving Range.
Similar lagoons, but the water was 20 times clearer back in the early seventies 😁

I so love these sight fishing videos the fish either turn your legs to jelly or frustration does you and you break your knuckles punching a tree or something! I love sight fishing thin lipped mullet up to 3lb when it goes well then it is the most fun you can have with your clothes on !
