The day finally arrived! Excellent reaction and your comments about the girls, it is totally correct! In this song there is no Su-Metal (lead singer) because he is taking a break, while Moa-Metal and Yui-Metal take the reins. I don't know if it's the right time, but since you say you have a very high bar for BABYMETAL, the next reaction should be the masterpiece called "Tales of the Destinies"! It's from a prog-metal genre, Dream Theater style and it's the most technical song that BABYMETAL has without a doubt! The best thing would be if you can see the live version, but on TH-cam it is not available (on other platforms such as Dailymotion yes, I do not have the link to facilitate it), and you probably have copyright problems. But if not, you can react only to the audio of that song! Best regards man!!
The reason for a lack of fan videos for Tales of the Destinies is because, I'm almost 100 percent positive, that it was only ever performed live once at their huge Tokyo Dome show. You can't mix and match clips to get a video past copyright if there is only one source.
@@randumo24 Yes, I think there is a version uploaded on youtube (a few months ago) that combines pro shot with fancam, but I don't recommend it :(. And yes, it's like you say, TOTD was only played once live at TOKYO DOME .
Ijime, Dame, Zettai from Sonisphere 2014. This was their first major performance outside of Asia. Your mention of being impressed with their (I’ll term it) composure is in full effect here. I think of them as being heroic. But of course they’re not alone... the kamis took the stage first (and left last) and had the crowd interested from the start. The songwriters... very good to even great musicians are not all that hard to find. There has to be good songs for them to play. I know this is ridiculously obvious, but considering the frequency that the kamis are mentioned as being afterthoughts I think it’s the songwriters that are overlooked with BABYMETAL. You have to be a super fan, or at least be super curious to even know who wrote the songs. The choreography... everything is at a very high level here, and to bring it back to beginning, that is a very tough standard for three young girls to live up to. That’s why I think of them as being heroic.
Nice reaction again & thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 The words used in this lyrics are harsh, aggravating and brutal. But the combination of such overstated aggressiveness and their facial expression (overly serious and a little smile) indicates they are trying to encourage boys and inflame their guts. That is why the guys at the venue shout to the girls' moves smilingly and happily. I love their sideward kicks which are cute and tender not intending to hurt anyone. And the scene at 05:27 in your video where Yui & Moa spread their arms and shrug their shoulders a little bit saying "what shall I do ? (to guys begging them for forgiveness)" is lovely.
In a society like Japan where politeness, etc. are so much appreciated and the norm this song's lyrics most really hit harder than in many other places. Black Babymetal does Black Metal in their own unique way. :-)
This is officially Black Babymetal and I miss it. As Su-Metal's solos gave Yuimetal and Moametal a break, Black Babymetal gave Su-Metal her break. As to the difficulty, one has to understand this is what they DO and all they have ever wanted to do. All 3 have been performing professionally since they were 6yo. On stage is where they want to be. Keep in mind they go at this pace for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Their physical fitness level is at the Olympic athlete level. 2020 is their 10th anniversary year, Su and Moa have been Su-Metal and Moametal for half of the lives!!
As Rob Zombie once told a fan who gave him abuse for liking Babymetal, "They roll harder than you". This performance confirms it! I've seen your drumming so I know you roll pretty hard yourself but - just like I was after 45 years of Metal gigs and music - I bet you never thought you'd be enjoying watching two young girls singing about why boys can be a pain in the ass! While listening to one awesome Metal band too, of course! Another great reaction to the most refreshing Metal band since Slipknot first appeared back in the 90's. Same goes for Band-Maid in the Rock world - changing it up, experimenting, putting on amazing live shows and cheering us all up!
When you paused the video to talk about these teenagers, their big show was Tokyo Dome (with the girls in red and the big stage with the screen/tower), this was a show done at the end of a tour around the world. With also doing a whole bunch of festivals. Tokyo Dome is the biggest venue in Japan, 55 000 people. Prestigious, the pinnacle. Babymetal sold out 2 nights in a row, they did all their songs from the first two albums, no song was repeated over two nights, with re-arranged choreography for the big stage. So much work went into it. What did the girls say when they got on the stage: wow, it's a lot of people. But after the show the consensus was: well, we've performed in front of larger crowds, so this was a lot, but still smaller than imagined before we started the tour less than a year ago. LOL :-) Tales of the Destinies is their most technical song, only performed ones. At this Tokyo Dome show, on the first night, the girls were more worried about performing this song than the show itself. Because it was a first time performance. I'm afraid no good video on TH-cam exists, you might need to choose the studio audio.

Since BABYMETAL have never been sexual or explicit, Sis Anger's language shock some! But I personally don't think it's all that bad (before I had my daughter, I was worse that the worst sailor! Lol), and think the mix of crass and cute to be perfect for the song! I've seen lots of recommendations for Tales of the Destinies in the comments, which I'm all for, but if you're gonna do TotD then I'm gonna recommend The One as a follow up. TotD and The One used to be one giant song, but Koba-metal made the decision to split them (for reasons I can't quite recall atm). Around that same time, BABYMETAL had noticed that overseas fans had been learning the Japanese lyrics to their songs so as to be able to sing along. For that reason, they decided to reciprocate the feelings and make a song that was fully English. That's what the second half of the song turned into, although technically there's two versions. One is Japanese, but with plenty of English still. And the other is fully English. In the end this song became the Fans' song. That's The One. Great stuff yet again man! Kitsune dao! \m/

Alwayd love your reactions Dimitark, you said that you got the bar up high with babymetal so i strongly suggest you to react to Tales of the Destinies. This probably is their mlst technical song and they only performed it once (i guess) at Tokyo Dome because its too technical that the bamd have to pour their whole concentration to do it perfectly. Hey Dimitar, if you like Babymetal you should have a look at BAND-MAID. They have some great songs that I thing you'd enjoy covering, too. I'd suggest: the non-fiction days, Moratorium, REAL EXISTENCE, Don't Let Me Down, DICE or Thrill. Plus, they deserve a lot more attention.
💀 💕 / 🔥 😡 😡 🔥 "I will knock your ill-nature into shape. Burn! Burn your anger hidden inside!" - Sis. Anger The littlest girls get the heaviest songs. : ) This song is about being angry, mostly at dumb boys. The song was kind of controversial, and the lyrics are a bit rude, especially coming from young girls. The equivalent would be using an expression like "dumb bastard". Unfortunately, this song hasn't been performed since July 2017, when Yui was still with the group.
Hmmm I would suggest you Kagerou too the best version is the proshot a really cool version and u can see the drummer short closer but i think Its not Hedeki because when u see him in the older vids he us only Japanese drum kits in kagerou u see Clear Meinl idk may he switched or i never noticed it before it give that rumor that BM have a western Kami band may its them next why i think so is Boh normally play 6 String Bass but when i saw right it was a 5 string Bass ....good reaction as always and cant wait for ur next cover bro 👊

BabyMetals best and hardest live performance, please try "Catch Me If You Can" live at Black Night Legend Doomsday show 3 Guitar solos, Drum solo, Monster riffs, So metal, So cute!!!! Headbanging with a Smile!!!! BabyMetals hardest , most fun song!
Hmm.. BLACKBABYMETAL , i miss it . Some GJ and Onedari Daisakusen is more good i think . Hope you check BABYMETAL - Arkadia Live Proshot . It's amazing . Good reaction 🤘
I think you might be ready for "Tales of the Destinies" now. Although, if you liked listening to the Moa/Yui duo (a configuration usually referred to as Black Babymetal), then I would heartily recommend "Onedari Daisakusen". It's one of the few songs I think sound better on the album than it does live, but the girls are just so insanely cute on stage in this one, so you should still do a live performance (the song is actually about acting cute to beg money off of dad).
Are we watching quantum entanglement here? I get the feeling that even if Moa and Yui were on opposite sides of the observable universe, they would still be 100% completely in sync. This isn't one of my favourite BM songs musically; but the choreography (and the realisation of it) is just stunning.
This is unrelated to Babymetal but you should react to "Archangel" from Call of Duty. I don't know if you've already heard it but the drummer is so damn awesome there.
The problem with Babymetal is that they don't have bad songs. Some are better than other, but you have a lot of stuff to go on. Hmm...next I'd try Ijime, Dame, Zettai (Sonisphere) or Road of Resistance (Live in Japan), but they usually block Road of Resistance a lot so be careful with that song.
Don't be bummed out that your bar is so high now. In my opinion, Babymetal's best performances for most songs aren't even on TH-cam, so there's a lot still to discover, even if you'd do it in your free time. I don't know why nobody ever suggests it, especially for a drummer like you, but you should definitely check out Arkadia th-cam.com/video/7wgOVFc1z-8/w-d-xo.html This is the performance from their L.A. Forum show in 2019. It's a fancam/DVD compilation, but it's pretty well done and the audio is from the DVD of the same show. It's probably my favorite Babymetal compilation because it doesn't switch around 10 different locations every 2 seconds, it only changes camera angles. The drummer in this concert was Anthony Barone, former drummer of Shadow of Intent, not Hideki Aoyama. They performed with a US Kami Band on their EU/US Tour at the end of 2019/beginning of 2020.
Another great reaction, thanks! Yeah, that was pretty heavy... Black BABYMETAL aka Moimoi :) are awesome! This song really brings the cute and the brutal at the same time. Well, since no Su this time, I'd like to suggest you my personal favorite (a Su's "solo") Akatsuki (Live at Budokan Black Night): th-cam.com/video/g2372C5PJLM/w-d-xo.html See you next time!
You were worried about the crowd being so disciplined? Well, here's why. For the bulk of the pro shots in the video, the venue they were playing at was the Tokyo Dome. That is the biggest indoor baseball stadium in the world (and baseball is HUGE in Japan). BABYMETAL played IN THE ROUND at Tokyo Dome, so they had to play to every side of the building. That building seats 55000 people, including on the floor. They sold out that show, 2 nights in a row. So in 2 nights, they played to 110,000 people. There wasn't much room from there to really let loose (I'm certain there were mosh pits and Walls of Death, but for that many people, that didn't leave much room. I agree with the others. Tales of the Destinies should be your next reaction. I happen to have the link for it, but with it, I suggest to talk heavily before you react to it, and definitely do a LOT of pauses. Yes, it will tick off those wanting to see your reaction, but this is to seriously avoid any copyright strikes against you. But I not only swear, but I GUARANTEE you will enjoy it. Almost forgot: Tales of the Destinies has only been performed once, and at Tokyo Dome, so you'll get a feel for how big the crowd is. Link is here: vimeo.com/423380869
One more thing I should have thought about: For Tales of the Destinies, if the pausing and heavy chatter before, during and after doesn't work, you may also want to consider Link and Sync as well. This is where you post the link to what you are reacting to (so others can pull it up in another window), give a countdown to when you hit play, then everyone can watch the video all the way through with you. The downside to doing that is that if you pause to talk about something, the people watching it in sync with you will be slightly off (by a second or 2) when you resume. But that's better than not reacting to it at all.
Actually, although I've already said you might be ready for "Tales of the Destinies", I went back and had a look at what songs you had listened to, and it seems you've not done "Road of Resistance" yet. That's usually one of the first recommendations that fans will give you (along with "Rondo of Nightmare", but that is more for the "Mischief of the Gods" intro). And talking about "Rondo of Nightmare", this seems to be the only Su-metal solo you have done so far. I would say that both "Akatsuki" and "Amore" are better solos though. At least they seem easier for beginner fans to appreciate. It all depends on how shy you are about crying on camera, I guess. If you want to avoid that, perhaps stick with "Tales of the Destinies" after all. That one will impress you technically more than emotionally, I think.
This is a good one, but it's kind of middle of the pack for me in terms of Babymetal songs for me. It's definitely their most aggressive song, so it stands out a bit, and the choreography is a lot of fun. I think there's still a few songs that you would be surprised at, but yeah the bar is pretty high after you've seen the performances you already reacted to. You haven't done Road of Resistance, right? Usually everyone recommends that one. I understand why so many are pushing to TOTD instead, but Road of Resistance is at least on TH-cam.
Do not forget that you are currently stuck with what's available on TH-cam. Their best stuff isn't on TH-cam because it's from their DVD's and it gets instantly blocked. Also this is a compilations video and those rarely if ever do full justice to their performance :)
I love this song... I hope you can react to Babymetal Syncopation th-cam.com/video/wy_vJ2t93-E/w-d-xo.html Tales of the Destinies th-cam.com/video/a_7l_asckp0/w-d-xo.html Arkadia th-cam.com/video/vxUv2MOSxzA/w-d-xo.html All three are great technicality songs....
I guess it's time to stop requesting songs for you as a drummer and just request as for most Babymetal reactors - regular person discovering new music. This is by far their heaviest song, and it's performed with the kawaii vocals by Yui and Moa. I for one love it and I'm confident you will like it with time if you're checking out Babymetal to wanna become a fan and not just as a weekly routine so to speak. I see you're doing 'Tales Of The Destinies' next week so I'll request 'Ijime, Dame, Zettai' live at Sonisphere UK for the following week. TOTD is quite out there so I hope you enjoy it.
Great reaction, again. If you want to hear, maybe not see so much but definitely hear, more drums try Amore. It's another Su solo and a compilation, but watch out for her above the HUGE screens at Tokyo Dome th-cam.com/video/GSufz9-CkTQ/w-d-xo.html

I get the feeling you didn't enjoy this song as you would have wanted too. But I blame the video you choose, these fan made videos always have bad quality, but at the same time are the safest to do on youtube to avoid copyright. The studio version or a pro-shot live sounds 10x better than this one
That audio is from Tokyo Dome Black Night so very pro, and the footage is only from 2 pro-shot concerts. That's really good for a compilation. The song didn't impress him, and I don't think a different video would change that. Listening a few more times, however, always makes songs better.
@@aamiw99 probably but I don't think it has the quality from the blu ray. Its clearly lowered quality. And yea, that's the problem when fans hype a song too much.
@@kai_henrik true. I think maybe the person screen recorded it and it affected the audio. I think he failed to realize that people were hyping it from a drumming standpoint only, at least that's what I was doing.

Yey Babymetal again 🤘🏿🦊🤘🏿
Nice reaction 🔥
Hey Dimitar, if you like Babymetal you should have a look at BAND-MAID. They have some great songs that I thing you'd enjoy covering, too. I'd suggest: the non-fiction days, Moratorium, REAL EXISTENCE, Don't Let Me Down, DICE or Thrill. Plus, they deserve a lot more attention.

"I will knock your ill-nature into shape.
Burn! Burn your anger hidden inside!" - Sis. Anger
The littlest girls get the heaviest songs. : )
This song is about being angry, mostly at dumb boys.
The song was kind of controversial, and the lyrics are a bit rude, especially coming from young girls.
The equivalent would be using an expression like "dumb bastard".
Unfortunately, this song hasn't been performed since July 2017, when Yui was still with the group.
cool beard man
Thanks 😁
Great Reaction sir, i always wait for your reaction videos. Didn't expect you would react to Sis. Anger. May i suggest you "GJ!" Thank you.
Western kami band is not a rumor, and the drummer for the Western kami band is Anthony Barone, not sure about who the bassist is tho
@@Patloaf ty bro thats good to know
@@Patloaf i looked after u told and im sorry would i follow BM on all the social media i would may know that for sure but i personally not do such because first im not a fan of FB and such and i personally dont need to know all about a Band like where they was and so on first i think everyone deserve private times and for me when u know too much about the Band it takes a bit the Magic for me like u think wow that Guy is so amazing so frendly and so than u may see things u dont wanna know ....hope i explained it good but anyway i thank u for ur comment and let me know
@@Patloaf the basist is from band called Galaxy Empire, and he is metal producer also #cmiiw

Something you might raise your Babymetal bar is KAGEROU at Legend Metal Galaxy, or TALES OF THE DESTINIES at Tokyo Dome. :)

Arkadia
Btw, nice reaction! I really love this song, thanks 🤘🏻
The lyrics are pretty dark actually but the girls bring it super cute
Also, I miss the old days :( heavy and thrasher sound. I miss Yui as well.
This is unrelated to Babymetal but you should react to "Archangel" from Call of Duty. I don't know if you've already heard it but the drummer is so damn awesome there.
Love your reaction👍👍, you must react GJ from babymetal, its nice song
The problem with Babymetal is that they don't have bad songs. Some are better than other, but you have a lot of stuff to go on.
Hmm...next I'd try Ijime, Dame, Zettai (Sonisphere) or Road of Resistance (Live in Japan), but they usually block Road of Resistance a lot so be careful with that song.
Syncopation next please🙏🙏🙏
Don't be bummed out that your bar is so high now. In my opinion, Babymetal's best performances for most songs aren't even on TH-cam, so there's a lot still to discover, even if you'd do it in your free time.
I don't know why nobody ever suggests it, especially for a drummer like you, but you should definitely check out Arkadia th-cam.com/video/7wgOVFc1z-8/w-d-xo.html
This is the performance from their L.A.

Well, since no Su this time, I'd like to suggest you my personal favorite (a Su's "solo") Akatsuki (Live at Budokan Black Night): th-cam.com/video/g2372C5PJLM/w-d-xo.html
See you next time!
Please do catch me if you can next or tales of destinies.
Next catch me if you can, 4 no uta, iine 😂👍
But that's better than not reacting to it at all.
try next time BABYMETAL - Road of Resistance - Live in Japan (OFFICIAL).
You'll like it))
You say that you are getting less impressed with Babymetal. Then you have not heard Tales of the Destines
Next week!
@@DimitarK can’t wait for the reaction make sure that you pause a lot more on the song because it will for sure taken down if you don’t
I know you already did "Rondo of Nightmare". Haven't you done "Road of Resistance" yet ? or was it blocked here in Japan ?
next should be GJ, its another Black BABYMETAL song
Still waiting for that Distortion at Download stuff, dem bass kix are awzum
Distortion or Kagerou next for Babymetal.
React to Babymetal - Amore live
Do not forget that you are currently stuck with what's available on TH-cam. Their best stuff isn't on TH-cam because it's from their DVD's and it gets instantly blocked. Also this is a compilations video and those rarely if ever do full justice to their performance :)
Road of resistance official when?)

Still think you would get a work out doing "Distortion" =)
