- This is a remade version that I made of Akira Ifukube's original music for King Ghidorah, which was originally used in Toho's Godzilla movies.
I made this version in anticipation of the upcoming Godzilla: King of the Monsters movie.

This and the Rodan theme remix prove that TH-camrs can sometimes be better than actual music composers. This dude should get hired by Legendary for music scores

@@EichiiiiiiiiiNo offense to you at all, but you're missing the point of the Monsterverse. It's all a Giant Nostalgia trip for old fans to relive their favorite Monsters in a new story. Yes, Bear McCreary knocked it out of the park with his score, but this is EONS better. The feel, Vibe, you put this over Ghidorahs first appearance and you feel like you just jumped in a Time machine right back to 1991 of the Heisei era. This is MUCH better, and a missed opportunity, This and the Rodan theme should have made appearances alongside the natural Godzilla theme and Mothra theme as the ultimate completion of the score.
1:08 hearing this gives me vivid memories of Godzilla vs king ghidorah 1991..and i love it.

It was Rodan’s theme (occasionally used by Ghidorah) that stuck with me most in childhood, but King Ghidorah’s Terror is one of the most bone-chilling and epic pieces of music to come from the Godzilla franchise, perhaps even moreso than the original theme of Godzilla himself. The alien nature of King Ghidorah is captured so well, and yet it is frighteningly clear: THE monster approaches, and death is imminent.
I'm really grateful for the Godzilla and Mothra themes we got in the official soundtrack, but I'm a bit surprised the same didn't go for Ghidorah or Rodan.
This kind of song would go great with him breaking out of the ice or arriving in Boston
Toho sadly didnt allow for their themes to get redone by Bear.
Rodan's theme was used. It wasn't as frequent as the other 2 though.

I can see this part playing in two sections: A, the aforementioned Ghidorah chasing the jet and Godzilla and his first fight. Dead silence as the world stares at these two ancient gods ready for battle. They roar their terrible roars as the battle begins right at 1:08 as they charge toward a battle put on hold millions of years prior. That's where I can see that part playing.
I can’t see King Ghidorah giving any shits about anything the military does. I’m willing to bet that King Ghidorah completely wrecks Godzilla in their first fight. King Ghidorah ramps up the stakes whenever he gets involved.

I hope his theme plays when he breaks out of the ice. Even before that, when he’s still trapped, I hope they can use a more subtle version of it like the one at the beginning of Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla 2 when they’re looking at the head of Mecha-King Ghidorah.
I don't think they will have his Toho theme in the movie

I imagined this when you woke up in the middle of a night and your windows are open blowing a heavy wind, when you're about to close it you noticed something outside.. on afar, you see big clouds of storm then suddenly a shadow of a giant three headed dragon appears and this theme plays..
then on the other side side you see something blue charging up and fires at the 3 heads
And the three-headed dragon is helped by a cyborg monster with sickles for claws.

Godzilla vs king ghidorah 1991
Okay so aside from the fact this cover is godlike, that still of Ghidorah’s silhouette in the clouds is one of the most terrifying images to come out of this franchise.
This is what I imagine from this soundtrack:
At 0:02 I imagine King Ghidorah awakened from his deep sleep and he is then facing at Godzilla
At 1:07 Imagine him fighting Godzilla in an epic final showdown
And at 2:27 His final stand with Godzilla in a brutal way
keriko suzuki nah it’d probably play when he awakens so 2:27 would be when he overpowers Godzilla now imagine how terrifying that’d be. Godzilla getting demolished. Then at the end he will finally overcome and destroy Ghidorah

Ghidorah's theme is still very chilling and sinister sounding in KOTM. It sounds almost demonic with the Tibetan throat chanting and truly emphasizes how evil, deadly, cruel, and apocalyptic Ghidorah is.

This music matched the king of monsters version of king ghidorah, he was so much more terrifying than any other rendition. Loved it! Should've reworked this in there somehow!

The Random House novels he appeared in. The IDW comics he rampaged through. The fanfics. This is the theme that goes through my head when King Ghidorah makes his entrance. Hoping Bear McCreery will be delivering the goods when the King of Terror makes his entrance.

This music proves that Ghidorah is a villain that we should all fear. Being my favorite villain in fictional history, he's got stuff that no other arch nemesis could get. Joker just has gas and a knife, Thanos is just someone who relies on finding stones and without them, he's not as much of a threat and Vader is more reliant on his soldiers. Ghidorah on the other hand, is someone who chooses to go solo. Not caring for anyone else.
Even all of the villians in the world get nightmares seeing 2019 King Ghidorah.
Except for Gigan and whatever alien race is controlling him. Seriously its a different one every time

Oh my god. This is utterly incredible. I mean HOLY FUCK! If Bear doesn't use this theme exactly like this in Godzilla 2 then Ghidorah will not nearly be as badass without Akira's original themes! Wow! I need to get this theme in my car! Blaring this on the highway would kick ass!
It's a shame neither King Ghidorah's nor Rodan's original Akira Ifukube's leitmotifs were considered for the 2019 movie.
(Seems to remember Rodan's theme and the Mothra vs. Godzilla theme playing in the 1972 film Godzilla vs. Gigan, but King Ghidorah's theme was largely absent in that movie)

I like this sound way better than the one in the movie, even though in the movie it sounds like he's worshipped as the devil, but in this one, this one fits him perfectly
The fact that this music COULD ACTUALLY BE IN "Godzilla King of The Monsters" is enough to give me the chills. If we get to hear any of this music (especially 1:07 & it's used as we see Ghidorah awaken & start flying & destroying everything in his path) I may not survive this film.

Kinda wish they decided to redo at least the first part of Ghidorah's theme because they could've made it super menacing. It would've made his entrance in the storm over Mexico ten times cooler
