I think Gullit is good in CF because in the past when AC Milan played Arrigo Sacchi often used the 442 formation and put Gullit in CF to become the attack creator and assistant to Marco Van Basten so KONAMI made me very real, just like Ronaldo's free kick style which is very similar to the real life
i thought i was the only one using him in the cf. But stat is clearly underrated. No way this guy has 89 finishing and 91 kicking power, this two stats should have been better.

Forlan will be marked by atleast 1-2 defenders at a time, as he is a Poacher. You'll feel it, if you've ever played with Legend card of Van Basten. If you need a scorer and an assist provider, redeem Van Basten💪🏼 It's not that Forlan is bad, but you'll get numerous chances to score with Basten up front💪🏼
Him and Rummingue you can turn with the ball easily Van basten is realy good to at sheilding but tight position will come there and speed to escape after sheild to ruin it.

Nowadays I am not using canto formation..so I am not sure about that..this card have more offensive and less passing attributes compared to legend..so I believe he is best at CF role(more like a false9 type. possession play🙌)
Can you use a formation other than 4312? I feel like it's very repetitive. 9al uses it, Sharc uses it, you use it, and so do 95% of the online players. So it would be nice if you use something else for a change.

One suggestion for you, u can't say his runs are great when u r using pass and move more often than not. We know if we use pass n move even my build up defender van dijk will make the forward run with 70- offensive awareness. So try to show the players' runs when you are not using pass n move more,especially if u r saying "coz of the off.awareness,he makes brilliant runs forward" or else it's just not true.✌
