Cells or not, this is fabulous!

There is a product that I take with us when we go camping and it’s called “mystic fire”. It’s a small packet of “something” that when you throw the packet into a camp fire, it changes the colour of the flames. You get gold, blues, purples and yes green. My table is finally clearing up so I’m up for yet another challenge. Cheers Helen xxx
Beautiful fire. My son is a fire performance artist. I have photographed his work at close range at night. This painting is spot on. I like the texture too.
I think it looks like fire but you were right the bottom needed something. All I could think of was a bright glow from bottom up like a gate to the underworld.
Hi Molly, start the flames from very bottom and add a bit of white and a little more of very light yellow for your lights and darks to add more depth and light. Even I would try a tiny bit of blue here and there since flames when almost white hot show a bit of blue. Awesome fire though. Tracey Milton, Ontario CANADA
Yes it absolutely looks like fire. Gorgeous. There were two ideas i had. I wish you had done your finger squiggles at the top of the fire like you did in another one. Second one was what if you let it dry and then went in after and made a log at the bottom? I'm glad you didn't draw the line you were thinking of. Great job.
