Thank you, my engine cut out as I was luckily just one block away from home and figured it had to do with the fuel pump because the engine still turned but no fuel would flow. You do a fantastic job of explaining other possible issues that could be leading to a lack of fuel flow. Thank you!

I am having the same problem except it the factory repair manual says of the relay is underneath the passenger side dash. I could not find anything underneath there, so I have to look where you say it is. Thank you thank you thank you.

Very good explanation. Easy enough for beginners. Only thing you might do better is to get better lighting while filming. The flashlight needs to be much brighter , or maybe just more light in the building....

Since this video I have added 14 more 5K LED lights to the garage and have a much more comfortable headlight ( so I will actually use it ;-) I now have over 1000 Vidoes on this channel. At least 900 of them should have better lighting than this one.
excellent how to. At least they made it easy. On my black car, I have to drop rear end then drop tank. That or cut hole in floor and make a trap door. I do not know about the injectors
I painted it. I only have a few pictures of that project. Most car repairs and projects I was too busy working and didnt take any photos or video. Now that Ive done a little over 1000 videos I really regret all the projects I didnt video. I could have 50K or more videos by now if I had just put a camera on a tripod at the beginning of each workday.
The rubber hose where the fuel pump connects to the metal line has probably turned to black goooooo and blown out. Don't get it on your hands, it is nasty and hard to clean off. Might as well change the whole assembly if you are going to go in there. I'm pretty sure there is an access to the top of the tank. Wish the 3rd gen camaros had that access panel. 👍👍
Wassup man nice car👍🏻 I have a question regarding the car. I have a 1984 Corvette and one of the injectors wasn’t spraying at first so we check the car out to see if It had any other issue turned out to be the ECM. so we repaired & plugged it back in and the car was running good it even passed the smog👍🏻 after a couple of weeks car just gave out completely both the injectors shut off neither one of them is spraying so I need your help what could be the cause of this problem.? It cranks but no gas. I was assuming it was the ecm so we took it again for repairs... and this time it didn’t start.. pls help🥲
having the same problem..no power going through the relay to the pump..no power at the pump fuse or ecm fuse for some reason..new relay ..sometimes it starts when it wants lol..crazy

Got a question. There is a ground strap near the battery tray mounted on the frame rail, do you know where it connects to? I have an 85.

Thats a lot of work for changing the pump. I hope it doesnt go bad.

Have someone turn the key on - off while you stand behind the car and listen for the fuel pump whine.
